Ruru Madrid "Nawawala"?!

Actually he is not lost, rather he just released his first solo single entitled "Nawawala" under GMA Music. Composed by  Kettle Mata, Roger Alcantara and Enzo Villegas, the song is perfect for those who loves "hugot" music which has been very popular for the new generation.

Fresh from his series "Toda One I Love," Ruru now focuses on honing his talent in singing which was somehow eclipsed by the projects he had in recent years. We also saw the transformation of Ruru from a teen star into a sophisticated man who takes care of his body, learning new things, and doing things beyond his comfort zone.

He shares that when he looks at his pictures from years ago he would cringe on how he looked and his fashion style back then. By reading self-help books and learning improvement tips from a lot of experts, he eventually changed himself which also helped in improving in his craft and also his looks.

According to Ruru, he got a stream of emotions upon hearing the musical arrangement. He shared that there is a lesson behind the lyrics, "The first time na binigay nila sa akin ito, nagulat ako talaga. Ang ganda at damang-dama. Everytime na may ginagawa tayo sa buhay natin, i-aapply natin 'yung mga natutunan natin sa past."

Ruru attributes his early musical influence to his dad who used to be a member of a band when he was young. He has had previous recordings including "Let the Love Begin," the theme song of the GMA primetime series with the same title and "Sa Yakap Mo" for the primetime soap "Sherlock Jr., " both in duet with Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia.

"Nawawala's" music video directed by Miggy Tanchanco, featuring Kapuso star Kelley Day, will have a simultaneous launch in GMA Music's official Facebook page and YouTube channel at 3PM.

"Nawawala" by Ruru Madrid is now available on GMA Music's social media pages and on digital streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
