Blah Blah Blogs: The Story Of Lola Pera

Lola is always game for wacky shots.
July is an unhealthy month for my family, my father FPJ Sr., died of a heart failure due to his complications on the day the Oakwood Mutiny started. We did not know about the events as we were morning for the loss of our Papa. Recently it also claimed the life of my maternal grandmother Felisa, who was born in 1931, in our province at La Union.

Deaths were also frequent this year with relatives like our Uncle Terry  who also died a few months ago. But for Lola's condition it came gradually and lasted months. We were hoping that she would reach her 100th birthday and claim the Centenarian prize of P100,000 because she was strong yet stubborn.

Ole! Pizza Castellana from Shakey's!

Remember my post about something new with SHAKEY'S ?

We dined at the biggest branch of Shakey's so far in in Quezon Avenue near Delta which includes an indoor arcade with video games, hoops, etc. for kids and kids at heart.

We dined with their best sellers like the peperoni and manager's choice pizza, chicken and mojos and tried their newest dessert offering, the Shakey's FroYo (Frozen Yougurt, which you can choose your toppings!). But for this event, Shakey's rolls out a new pizza flavor that is close to the Pinoy palette. A great fusion of our favorite Spanish ingredients that we have incorporated into a pizza.

Its is, a brand new pizza flavor that will be available starting today! Its the New Pizza Castellana! It may look like a regular pizza with "large pepperonis" but this is  made from authentic and glistening Spanish Chorizo from Barcelona, made more flavourful with indigenous spices, and topped with red bell peppers and red onions on cheddar cheese and pizza sauce spread so invitingly on its world-famous brick oven-baked pizza.
It is a great new pizza flavor for celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, and just in time for graduation! Also great with simple get together with friends and family which made Shakey's indeed a place for bonding with great food.

With Pizza Castellana, Shakey’s spices up your taste buds and get you groovin’ to the flamenco beat! Available in both Thin Crust and Hand Tossed, Shakey’s Pizza Castellana is the perfect treat for barkadas, and for office and family gatherings.

At Shakey’s, great taste, variety and value bring people closer together. Make it an everyday enjoyment.

For fast and efficient delivery, please call 77-777 or log on to www.shakeyspizza.ph and remember, if it’s late, it’s FREE.
