Fresh from being named Concert of the Year at the Filipino Music Awards 2026, SB19 Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale is set to bring one of the group’s biggest live events to the big screen, with screenings beginning October 7 in the Philippines via SM Cinemas and select international markets.
Held on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City, the sold-out Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale drew nearly 100,000 fans and marked the culmination of SB19’s concert trilogy. The landmark show brought together the group’s music, storytelling, choreography, and large-scale production for a finale that has since earned recognition as one of the year’s standout live events.
Now, 1Z Entertainment and CJ 4DPLEX, together with SM Cinemas and SCREENX, bring the concert to cinemas through SB19 Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale. The concert film captures the scale, energy, and defining moments of the historic finale, giving audiences the opportunity to relive the performance through a cinematic experience.
The concert film is directed by Yoon Dong Oh, while the original Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale concert production was directed by Paolo Valenciano and co-produced by 1Z Entertainment and Live Nation Philippines.
Adding another dimension to the theatrical release, select screenings will be presented in SM Cinema’s SCREENX, CJ 4DPLEX’s panoramic cinema format that extends visuals from the main screen onto the theater’s side walls. The format brings audiences deeper into the concert’s visual production, expanding the scale of SB19’s performances, choreography, and stage design across the cinema.
The film will open in the Philippines on October 7, with screenings at participating cinemas, alongside its international release across markets including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other territories.
For SB19 and 1Z Entertainment, the theatrical release extends the Wakas at Simula experience beyond the live stage. Following the concert’s recognition as Concert of the Year at the Filipino Music Awards 2026, the film gives fans and audiences around the world another opportunity to revisit the performances and moments that brought the trilogy to its celebrated finale.
