From the success of last year's Nasa Atin ang Panalo concert in Araneta Coliseum, Puregold once again continues to elevate OPM / P-POP with staging a bigger concert at the Philippine Arena with Puregold’s OPM Con 2025.. Acer Philippines recently invited SB19 to visit Acer’s Taipei headquarters as “one-day employees” to experience the brand’s innovations firsthand during their “Simula at Wakas” world tour stop in Taipei. 

TAIPEI — Before SB19’s “Simula at Wakas” world tour stop in Taipei, SB19 was invited to Acer’s Taipei headquarters as “one-day employees.” Besides being honored guests, the “Kings of P-pop” also met Acer Chairman and CEO Jason Chen, along with Pan-Asia Pacific President Andrew Hou, who gave each member—Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—a Predator Helios 18 gaming laptop as a token of appreciation for their five-year collaboration.

During their visit, SB19 visited Acer’s product experience center, where they tried out the latest gaming laptops and to the FreeSense Ring smart wearable developed by Acer Fashion. The group also participated in a design workshop, where they brainstormed ideas for laptop aesthetics and compact home appliances.

Puregold’s Thanksgiving Concert proved to be the music event of the year, setting a tough act to follow. In a grand celebration of Original Pinoy Music (OPM), the remarkable Panalo stories behind wonderful talents, and Puregold’s many years of making victories happen, the retail giant recently hosted the spectacular Nasa Atin Ang Panalo concert at the Araneta Coliseum. Held on July 12, 2024, this musical extravaganza, which fans eagerly waited for in the past few months, showcased some of the finest and most loved artists of today’s OPM scene, working together to create beautiful music. 

The star-studded event featured spectacular performances–and, to the fans’ delight and surprise, collaborations–from headliners SB19, BINI, Flow G, and SunKissed Lola. Felip releases 7sins album, to hold concert on Jul 27, 2024

Felip pushes his artistry with his newest album, 7sins. 7sins, while not religion-centric, is a journey of acknowledging human shortcomings. The album will take you on a journey of honesty and acceptance about unsaid feelings and emotions, to embracing one’s true self.

Felip releases 7sins the album on July 5, 2024. The album is composed of nine (9) songs, with “envy” as the title/focus track. With the release of the album on streaming platforms, the album will also be released on Felip’s Youtube channel. The other songs represent the other sins such as wrath, greed, and pride, and the album ends with a track called “ache,” which is about redemption and acknowledgement. 7sins is a genre-bending album with songs that show the different sides and stories of Felip.

Despite being busy with SB19 engagements, shoots, and projects, Felip persevered and took a hands-on approach in the writing, creating and producing his album. The album took 7 months of work to write, record, and mix, with late night sessions with Luke April of PLAYERTWO and Isagani Palabyab.

The latest episode of YouTube Channel THE FIRST TAKE has been announced.

Episode 449 welcomes SB19, a five-member boy band from the Philippines, to make its first appearance on THE FIRST TAKE.

SB19 is the very first Southeast Asian artist to be nominated as Top Social Artist at the 2021 U.S. Billboard Music Awards, and they will be performing their song “GENTO,” which became a hit on TikTok for its addictive phrase and unique dance moves.

Enjoy the song, which expresses the message that “it is the accumulation of small efforts that leads to success,” in a special version exclusively for THE FIRST TAKE.

SB19 and Apl.de.Ap are throwing a massive house party on the music video of “Ready,” the dance-pop track released under Sony Music Entertainment. 

“The concept of the music video revolves around the guys being away for a while and returning home to mount a party of a lifetime,” Apl.de.Ap explains. “While shot in Manila, it’s designed to be purposely ambiguous in location, and the maximalist design is intentional.
