Brad Pitt, a Silent Movie Star at the Top of His Game in "Babylon"

Academy Award-winner Brad Pitt stars as Jack Conrad, a silver screen icon navigating the tumultuous transformation of cinema in Paramount Pictures’ critically acclaimed epic, Babylon. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, the film traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.

“Brad’s one of the few people today where you get some sense of what the old school movie star really might’ve been like,” says Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle (La La Land, First Man). “That sort of larger-than-life aura that a star of that time could exude seemingly effortlessly. That’s the thing with Brad, especially at this point in his career. You don’t see the work… it’s completely invisible and effortless. That’s part of what’s so magical about it.”

Bullet Train - On Track To Slay and Survive

It was quite a surprise that Brad Pitt came back to making films with the announcement of Bullet Train months ago. It was based on the book Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka, adapted into a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz, and directed by David Leitch.

It stars Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Bad Bunny, Karen Fukuhara, Logan Lerman, and Sandra Bullock, this takes place in Japan known for its Shinkansen or the Bullet Train. Though there have been many movies about trains and gangsters, Bullet Train also blends some elements of mystery and dark comedy.

Brad Pitt is Ladybug which is his code name as he enters the train. The characters are mostly named with code names with each having an interesting background and skills of assassination in various ways. Imagine a train full of mobsters, assassins, and other dangerous people and are bound by one person, The White Death.

DiCaprio & Pitt: A "Once" in a Lifetime "Hollywood" Team Up"

Experience the Pivotal Year 1969 When You Watch "Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood"

There will never be another year like 1969, and Quentin Tarantino’s new film Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood captures the turbulence and uncertainties of this pivotal period in global history.

The 1960s was the height of a creative and political counter-cultural movement in America. Life was fun, love was free, the music was new and everywhere, the poetry was deep and thought-provoking and everyone believed change was in the air.

But by 1969 the peaceful façade of the movement was crumbling.  People were angry, about the Vietnam war, about civil rights and Americans were still reeling from the 1968 assassinations of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Despite the moon landing – 1969’s great crowning achievement -  the growing darkness culminated on August 9, 2019, when a band of hippies lead by self-proclaimed messiah Charles Manson broke into actress Sharon Tate’s Bel Air home and murdered the 8-months pregnant star and 4 of her housemates.  The murders shocked and terrified not only the Hollywood community but the world, and the peace-loving flower-power 1960s were officially over.  Their story became one of the most tragic legends of a changing world.

Brad Pitt Plays a Husband Left Out in the Cold in "Allied"

In a career that has made him a superstar, Brad Pitt has played a particularly broad range of roles – garnering Oscar® nominations for some of his most unexpected: as an activist gone mad in Terry Gilliam’s Twelve Monkeys, a man who is aging in reverse in David Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and colorful Oakland Athletics’ general manager Billy Beane in Moneyball.

Now, in Paramount Pictures' gripping romantic thriller Allied, Pitt plays Max Vatan, a man of action expected to act against his wife, a man caught in a trap between his undying love and his duty to a country fighting for a freer world.

"Allied" -- Based on a True Story of Love, War, Deceit

Some true stories you hear once and can never forget.

That was the case when Allied's Oscar-nominated screenwriter Steven Knight (Eastern Promises) heard the story of two undercover WWII spies who fell madly in love only to be set mortally against each other when their true identities were exposed.

They say all is fair in love and war, but when the two combine in the most volatile of ways, the moral certainties of the world can quickly spin out of control.

Love is a Lie in New "Allied" Poster, TV Spots

Undertones of deception and betrayal pervade in the new one-sheet art and two TV spots that Paramount Pictures has just launched in support of Allied, the World War II romantic thriller from Oscar-winning director, Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Cast Away).

Check out poster below with the intriguing tagline, The Enemy is Listening and watch the TV spots at http://youtu.be/gGyPadGZIpM and http://youtu.be/fyhT4Bg8KKo.

Written by Steven Knight (Eastern Promises, Locke), the film stars Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard, Lizzy Kaplan and Matthew Goode.

Allied is the story of intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt), who in 1942 North Africa encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war.
Opening across the Philippines on Nov. 23rd, Allied is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
