UNIQLO expands presence in the Philippines with new stores in 2023

Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO is welcoming the Spring/Summer season with a new roster of stores in the country. 

For the first half of the year, UNIQLO is opening new stores located in Robinsons Antipolo and SM City Bataan. In addition, the brand will open its doors to their first roadside store in Eastern Metro Manila, the Marquinton Roadside Store, in Marikina. 

“We thank our customers for continuing to show their support for UNIQLO. Through opening these new stores, we aim to reach even more Filipinos and give them easier access to our LifeWear products, providing quality pieces that are fit for every type of lifestyle,” says Geraldine Sia, Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO Philippines. 

UNIQLO Expands Presence in Paranaque With Their Newest Store in Ayala Malls Manila Bay

Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO is opening their newest and biggest location in the Paranaque area, located in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The store is 1,495 sq. m in size and is the perfect one-stop shop for families as it carries the widest range of LifeWear for men, women, kids, and babies just in time for the holidays.

UNIQLO to Launch Second Pokémon Meets Artists UT Collection

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO will release the second Pokémon Meets Artists UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection on Monday, March 21. The first collection debuted in August 2021. UTs (UNIQLO T-shirts), offer an array of authentic pop culture and art graphics from around the world that allow wearers to express their individuality. The collection will feature unique takes on Pokémon by Magma, an artist duo that has earned accolades for their distinctive scrap collages.

For this collection, the duo has used helmets, balls, binoculars, and stationary, and other scrap materials with different textures to depict Pokémon, adding new appeal to beloved Pokémon as Pikachu and Magikarp. KIDS’items take inspiration from the game screen for designs depicting Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and other Pokémon, creating a charming collection that will delight people of all ages.

UNIQLO Appoints Green Doraemon as Global Sustainability Ambassador

Famed cat-type robot character to engage in sustainability initiatives with LifeWear Special Ambassador Haruka Ayase and UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassadors 

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces that it has appointed “Doraemon” as its Global Sustainability Ambassador. The name of the green model of the internationally beloved blue Japanese manga and anime character is “Doraemon Sustainability Mode.” Presented with the UNIQLO logo also rendered in green, he will help convey the many ways in which UNIQLO materializes its sustainability message of “Changing our future through the power of clothing”. 

“We are delighted to partner with Doraemon,” said Koji Yanai, Group Senior Executive Officer, Fast Retailing. “Over the past two decades, UNIQLO has undertaken numerous sustainability initiatives through business to contribute to a better, more sustainable world. UNIQLO Announces Its Evia Store Expansion

Japanese global apparel retailer, UNIQLO, announces its expansion of their UNIQLO Evia store in Evia Lifestyle Center in Las Piñas City starting this February. 

With UNIQLO’s commitment to improve the lives of everyone through clothing and service, the expansion aims to bring more shopping convenience and accessibility to its customers. 

Located at the ground level of the Evia Lifestyle Center, the store was temporarily closed last February 1, 2021 for renovations and developments.
