PLDT Home, the Philippines’ leading digital services provider, is powering the country’s first premier Pokémon-themed expo extravaganza happening from May 31 to June 2, 2024 at SM Megamall, Megatrade Hall, Mandaluyong City.

Created by Marites Allen and son Kirck Allen, Pokeverse headlines Veronica Taylor, the beloved original voice actress of Ash Ketchum, and Jason Paige, the original singer of the Pokémon theme song who would be hailed as "The Voice of a Generation." The iconic stars’ presence adds an extra layer of excitement to the much-anticipated event, alongside local celebrities Myrtle Sarrosa, Robi Domingo, and Tim Yap.

Pokeverse, a Pokémon-themed event meticulously crafted by fans for fans, is set to celebrate the world-renowned Pokémon fandom in the Philippines. Organized in collaboration with the country's top Pokémon licensed distributors and collectors such as Hobby Stadium and Arken, the event will take place from May 31 to June 2, 2024, at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall. Dive into the Pokémon Universe, exploring a variety of interactive activities, gaming tournaments, cosplay showcases, and live performances, all in one spectacular venue with the presence of our cherished celebrities Myrtle Sarrosa, Robi Domingo, and Tim Yap.

UNIQLO to Launch Second Pokémon Meets Artists UT Collection

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO will release the second Pokémon Meets Artists UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection on Monday, March 21. The first collection debuted in August 2021. UTs (UNIQLO T-shirts), offer an array of authentic pop culture and art graphics from around the world that allow wearers to express their individuality. The collection will feature unique takes on Pokémon by Magma, an artist duo that has earned accolades for their distinctive scrap collages.

For this collection, the duo has used helmets, balls, binoculars, and stationary, and other scrap materials with different textures to depict Pokémon, adding new appeal to beloved Pokémon as Pikachu and Magikarp. KIDS’items take inspiration from the game screen for designs depicting Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and other Pokémon, creating a charming collection that will delight people of all ages.
