Rated R-16 Without Cuts, 'Halloween" Opens in PH Cinemas Oct 24

After making a killing with its $77.5 million No.1 debut in the US -- the second-biggest opening ever for a horror film -- Universal Pictures’ “Halloween” is set to slash its way to the Philippine box-office as it opens in selected cinemas Weds, October 24.

Audiences can rejoice with the news that the Movie & Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has rated “Halloween” R-16 Without Cuts.  This is a welcome development for avid fans of horror films as “Halloween” will be shown in its integral version with all the terrifying and suspenseful scenes intact.  Moviegoers aged 16-years old and above will definitely have a scary good time.

QCinema 2018 Opens With Over 40 Films!

Everybody is excited for another film festival happening this October, QCinema is a proud locally-supported film festival made by the Quezon City Government. Now on 6th year, it showcases a smörgĂĄsbord of film ranging from the competition films to foreign and restored movie which will excite everyone.

Opening with the award-winning Japanese film "Shoplifters" by Hirokazu Kore-eda, it tells the story of a family of criminals scraping a living in downtown Tokyo. Their story takes an interesting turn when they adopt a little girl despite their impoverished livelihood.But the fun does not stop there as we always look forward to the main competition films. 

Sablaya Ends The Pilipinas Dream Cup With Flying Colors

It’s the season finale of the 2018 Petron National Motorcycle Championship, and the 6th round of the Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup (HPDC) has come. What better way to honor the occasion than to show off the HPDC riders their skills and talent at the track.

The qualifying round started early for the riders as they took off from the pit gate at 8:55 a.m., with Rider #6 Sean Barcial (P1) making the best time at 2:25.729, while Rider #1 Kervie Bergania made 2:25,995 which landed him on (P2). Rider #7 Jakob Sablaya, who lead the pack in the overall points, had a time of 2:28.052 which took him to (P3), putting him close to rider #8 Andrei Reyes and #2 Wyner Blente, who landed on (P4 and P5) respectively. Meanwhile, Rider #12 Jasper Cruz and #4 Sean Ondillo got (P6 and P7), respectively.

Jed Madela Goes "Higher Than High" At Araneta Concert


Jed Madela has reached 15 years in his musical career and he is now aiming for a higher and bigger performance in celebration of this milestone. He is set to have his first major solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 16 at 8PM. Dubbed as "Higher Than High," the concert elevates expectations and experience for him and the audience.

“It has always been the dream of every artist to stand onstage and scream ‘Good evening, Araneta!’ I’m very excited and nervous at the same time. Excited that finally, I will be performing solo in the Big Dome and nervous because there’s a lot of pressure on me now to fill its seats,” he said.
