Alternative band, She’s Coming Home’s lead vocals, Karla Lopez, shares her talent for a good cause together with five (5) other female vocals for RadioManila’s Kaibigan Mo project. 

Founded by Joel Elorin, RadioManila is an online community that shares what’s happening and what’s to watch out for in the music scene. One of RadioManila’s projects is to collaborate with songwriters to come up with a song that the group launches in different set of events in order to raise funds for the benefit of the kids in Children’s Hospital.

Global Pop Star RITA ORA Coming to Manila

For the first time, British singer-songwriter Rita Ora will be coming to Manila on March 10, 2019 at the New Frontier Theater (formerly KIA Theatre), as part of her upcoming World Tour 2019 that will include stops in Europe, Asia and Australia.

The global pop star is also due to release her second studio album, ‘Phoenix’ out on November 23 via Atlantic Records, which includes the chart topping single ‘Let You Love Me’. It has been a momentous year and a half for Rita – following a sold out European tour and an incredible summer playing to millions of fans with over 33 live dates, her latest five hit singles have amassed over 1.3 billion Spotify steams worldwide. Global hit, ‘Your Song’, written by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac has reached more than 352-million streams alone - it is also her biggest hit in Europe and was a Top 10 smash in the UK singles chart.

Praise Music Very Alive With 7th Year Of ASOP

Another year has passed and we have now again 12 monthly winners of A Song of Praise (ASOP) Music Festival and the finals night will be happening on November 11, 2018 at the New Frontier Theater starting 7 PM. Known as the biggest praise and worhsip songwriting competition in the country, it now celebrates it's seventh year and made a lot of milestones that also elevates the genre as part of OPM.

The change of venue is also surprising since it is usually held at the Araneta Colsieum which is always full of fans and supporters of the music festival. The organizers said that it is because the coliseum is fully booked for the month, and the next best option is the New Frontier Theater just across however has a very limited capacity. Despite this, they said that they will utelize the use of social media to do live streams of the event.

"The Mule" Delivers Eastwood-Centric First Poster

Warner Bros. Pictures has just unveiled the first poster artwork of Clint Eastwood’s newest feature film, the drama “The Mule.”

In addition to directing, the veteran actor steps in front of the lens again, alongside fellow stars Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Peña, Dianne Wiest and Andy Garcia, as well as Alison Eastwood and Taissa Farmiga.

About “The Mule”

Clint Eastwood stars as Earl Stone, a man in his 80s who is broke, alone, and facing foreclosure of his business when he is offered a job that simply requires him to drive.  Easy enough, but, unbeknownst to Earl, he’s just signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel.  He does well—so well, in fact, that his cargo increases exponentially, and Earl is assigned a handler.  But he isn’t the only one keeping tabs on Earl; the mysterious new drug mule has also hit the radar of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates.  And even as his money problems become a thing of the past, Earl’s past mistakes start to weigh heavily on him, and it’s uncertain if he’ll have time to right those wrongs before law enforcement, or the cartel’s enforcers, catch up to him.

Senatoriable Angelo De Alban Steps Forward

There are new aspirants for the seats in the Senate this coming 2019 midterm elections, and lawyer and educator Angelo De Alban comes forward to take that chance to push reforms and make necessary action that favors the simple folk like him.

His name is not the usual name we usually hear in politics, at age 37, he is one of the youngest senatorial nominee that filed their certificate of candidacy. But there are some people who considers him as a nuisance candidate on the grounds that "he is just a lawyer and teacher." He quickly answered these allegations with a formal response to COMELEC (Commission of Elections), to show his capacity to run answering all points of the argument to show proof of his capacity as a candidate.
