Marvel Cinematic Universe Welcomes "Ant-Man"‏

When Marvel’s “Ant-Man” hits Philippine theaters on July 15, director Peyton Reed believes the movie will surprise audiences. “Ant-Man is an incredibly powerful character,” says Reed. “He can shrink down to a very tiny size and actually command armies of different types of ants. The great thing about the comics and the great thing about this story is you get to see what kinds of things a bunch of ants can get done and the interesting ways in which they can help Scott Lang aka Ant-Man.”

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.”

REEL DEAL: Ant-Man REVIEW

It has been very anticipated that aside from the mainstream Avenger heroes, fans would love  to have a stand alone film for them. The first big step on this one is Ant-Man. We have to admit that not everybody knows him, and it is good move for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to end its second phase.

Ant-Man brings the lives of scientist Hank Pym (Douglas) , his daughter Hope (Lilly) and Scott Lang (Rudd) on a mission to stop Pym's former protege Darren Cross in creating a dangerous power suit. Hank Pym has actually made an earlier suit and has chosen Scott as he has skill and intelligence that he admired.

In the comics, Ant-Man is known to be one of the original founders of the Avengers which merits his place in the elite superhero team. For this movie, his involvement with the team will be revealed and a possible encounter with them. And like all Marvel movies, stay until all end credits and a there will be that clincher scene waiting for you.

Pixar's "Inside Out" Reveals the Little Voices Inside Your Head‏

Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head? Disney•Pixar’s original new film “Inside Out” ventures inside the mind to find out.

Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy, whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear heads up safety, Anger ensures all is fair and Disgust prevents Riley from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

“The Emotions are kind of like the voices in our heads,” says director Pete Docter. “When we were just getting started on this film, we looked around—at our kids, friends, co-workers—and we realized that everybody has a default temperament. We all go through periods of being happy or sad, but certain people are just happy or angry or what have you. Riley is one of those happy kids. So Joy had to be the first Emotion to show up, and she has a very special bond with Riley.”

Mark Wahlberg, the Best Buddy a Guy Can Have in "Ted 2"‏

Mark Wahlberg (“Transformers: Age of Extinction”) returns as John Bennett, the best buddy any guy would want to have, in Universal Pictures' adult comedy, “Ted 2.” The film is the follow-up to 2012's “Ted,” the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time.

In the sequel, John's best friend, Ted - a living, talking, foul-mouthed teddy bear (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) – is fighting for equal rights in the eyes of the law when he wants to have children with his new bride.

When writer-director Seth MacFarlane and the producers came to Wahlberg with the idea for “Ted 2,” it didn’t take long for the actor to come aboard. “The first movie was the biggest original “R”-rated comedy of all time for a reason,” Wahlberg offers. “It encompassed this amazing humor but also has so much heart. In the first film, you’re rooting for John to become successful at maintaining his relationship with Ted, and the reason why I was excited about making `Ted 2' was because I knew I’d be working with Seth. This is the first time I’ve ever done a sequel to a movie, because I knew Seth would take it to another level. As long as there were places for the characters to go and things for them to do, then people would want to see it.”
