REEL DEAL: Kung Fu Panda 3 REVIEW

It has been a powerful and entertaining franchise which was inspired from the eastern martial arts, now also an entertainment success, Kung Fu Panda hits harder now on its 3rd movie. The movie now expands to his roots and even the heritage from the secret Panda village.

The Dragon Warrior Panda Po faces a new foe that goes beyond dimensions. With the furious five and Master Shifu still has a lot to learn, the quest for peace and justice goes into another level. A new villain emerges from the spirit realm and takes on the best masters in China, the only hope lies again with Po.

The third film looks fun and awesome with the Pandas and all but it pars equally with the last film which was also quite heavy with the dark past. This time they incorporated it with the spirit realm which is a new place with new powers, and a great expansion for future sequels.

“KUNG FU PANDA 3” Marks Biggest Adventure Comedy In Blockbuster Franchise

One of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, “Kung Fu Panda 3.” When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters.  But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!

The film marks the return of the plump black-and-white bear who has only one aspiration – to become an expert in a martial art that requires agility, mental prowess and lightning-fast reflexes.  It was a formidable, if not impossible quest.  But then Po doesn’t know the word “impossible.”  He’s always striving to be the best he can be…to be his own hero.

He received wide acclaim as the tenacious young Greek soldier in the global box-office hit “300: Rise of an Empire.” Now, Jack O'Connell gets his biggest breakthrough role as the Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini in the Angelina Jolie-directed epic drama, “Unbroken.”

The critically acclaimed film follows the incredible life of Louis “Louie” Zamperini who survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash during World War II—only to be caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a series of prisoner-of-war camps.

REEL DEAL: Angelina Jolie's Passion For Directing Remains "UNBROKEN"

Angelina Jolie’s first feature-film directorial effort, 2011’s “In the Land of Blood and Honey” was an auspicious debut and received strong reviews and a Golden Globe Award Best nomination for Best Foreign Language film. It wasn’t surprising that the urge to continue a career as a filmmaker persisted in Jolie, even as the subject matter of another directorial effort eluded her. “I would be lying in bed thinking I want to do something meaningful. But what was it? I needed some help, some guidance,” she gives.

The living, breathing embodiment of the guidance Jolie sought, and of the themes and values that pique her interest—courage and endurance, the resilience of the human spirit, faith, forgiveness and redemption—turned out to be quite nearby. She found it wholly in the person of one of her neighbors, a living legend whose home, unbeknownst to her, was nearby her family’s house in the Hollywood Hills.

REEL DEAL: SALT

Angelina did it again as she kicked butt hard with a dash of SALT. This movie is one of the awaited films this year and it did not disapoint its viewers as it proved to be worthy of being a action film to remember for life. SALT follows the life of a CIA Agent Evelyn Salt as she is set up into a spy conspiracy that involves a assasination attempt of a world leader, in an event they call Day X. This movie made me think that the USSR conspiracy is still alive and will leave you puzzed at first and craving for more at the end.

The film also stars , Liev Shcreiber, who also stared as Sabertooth from the X men origins: Wolverine, as Salt's partner in the CIA. Chiwetel Ejiofor is Peabody, who also works for the ONCIX  is on a mousehunt for the alleged spy. What made the chase more interesting is how Salt went into a transformation and also as a master of different arts. You will also love the transformations that she did in this movie, very sleek, classy yet shows an aura of a heroine.

One interesting fact is originally, Tom Cruise was the first pick to play (Edwin A.) Salt. But since Cruise has a lot of commitments at that time, so it was made into a role of Angelina. Angelina also made the stunts on this film by herself, proving that she is really one tough woman. The sequel for this one is awaited by fans and also did very well in the box office.
Deliberation time kids!

Movie summary in 3 lines:YOU ROCK SALT !

(the truth is most of the stunts were done by Angelina herself plus the exhilarating scenes would leave you at the edge of your seats)
