The Maleficent “Welcome to the Moors” exhibit features themed tunnels and three rooms that will transport moviegoers to different worlds. During the launch, visually impaired children from Deaf and Blind Foundation Philippines joined SM Cinema in welcoming the public into the Moors. The exhibit will run from October 10-16 in S’Maison and will move to SM Southmall from October 17-23.

It has been a powerful and entertaining franchise which was inspired from the eastern martial arts, now also an entertainment success, Kung Fu Panda hits harder now on its 3rd movie. The movie now expands to his roots and even the heritage from the secret Panda village.

The Dragon Warrior Panda Po faces a new foe that goes beyond dimensions. With the furious five and Master Shifu still has a lot to learn, the quest for peace and justice goes into another level. A new villain emerges from the spirit realm and takes on the best masters in China, the only hope lies again with Po.

The third film looks fun and awesome with the Pandas and all but it pars equally with the last film which was also quite heavy with the dark past. This time they incorporated it with the spirit realm which is a new place with new powers, and a great expansion for future sequels.

Award-winning, American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey has recorded a unique reimagining of the renowned fairy-tale tune “Once Upon A Dream” from Disney’s classic animated film “Sleeping Beauty,” which is featured in the theatrical trailer & end credits of the Disney film “Maleficent”-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihgvGPlSkXE . This haunting cover was unveiled as part of a 90-second sneak peek of Disney’s “Maleficent” during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards® last January 2014. Howard is best known for his brilliant theatrical scores for films such as “Pretty Woman”, “The Hunger Games”, “Batman Begins”, “King Kong” and “The Sixth Sense” among others.

REEL DEAL: SALT

Angelina did it again as she kicked butt hard with a dash of SALT. This movie is one of the awaited films this year and it did not disapoint its viewers as it proved to be worthy of being a action film to remember for life. SALT follows the life of a CIA Agent Evelyn Salt as she is set up into a spy conspiracy that involves a assasination attempt of a world leader, in an event they call Day X. This movie made me think that the USSR conspiracy is still alive and will leave you puzzed at first and craving for more at the end.

The film also stars , Liev Shcreiber, who also stared as Sabertooth from the X men origins: Wolverine, as Salt's partner in the CIA. Chiwetel Ejiofor is Peabody, who also works for the ONCIX  is on a mousehunt for the alleged spy. What made the chase more interesting is how Salt went into a transformation and also as a master of different arts. You will also love the transformations that she did in this movie, very sleek, classy yet shows an aura of a heroine.

One interesting fact is originally, Tom Cruise was the first pick to play (Edwin A.) Salt. But since Cruise has a lot of commitments at that time, so it was made into a role of Angelina. Angelina also made the stunts on this film by herself, proving that she is really one tough woman. The sequel for this one is awaited by fans and also did very well in the box office.
