AFAD opens 31st Defense & Sporting Arms Show Part 2 at Megamall

The Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD) is set to open the 31st Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 on Tuesday, November 18, at the SM Megamall Trade Hall in Mandaluyong City. The show runs from November 18 to 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., continuing the country’s longest-running and most recognized firearms showcase.

Following the successful DSAS held in July at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, this upcoming November run—now happening at the SM Megamall Trade Hall in Mandaluyong—brings together around 40 exhibitors featuring the latest firearms innovations, upgraded models, advanced accessories, and new locally manufactured products, while also reinforcing AFAD’s advocacy for responsible and educated gun ownership.

The Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD) is gearing up for its third and final hosting of the 30th Defense and Sports Arms Show Manila Edition, scheduled for November 20-24 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. 

AFAD spokesperson Alaric "Aric" Topacio expressed the enthusiasm of all participating members for the five-day event, which will showcase the finest locally and internationally manufactured sporting firearms and shooting products. This year’s edition takes on heightened significance as the firearms industry braces for the upcoming gun ban ahead of next year’s midterm national elections 

Senator and fellow gun enthusiast JV Ejercito has been invited as the special guest for the opening ceremony on November 20. 

AFAD 30th Arms Show blast off today at SMX

World-class imported and locally made sporting firearms and shooting products all highlighting innovations and safety features will be on full display as the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers, Inc. (AFAD) hosts the first of two parts in this year’s 30th Defense and Sporting Arms Show on August 21-25 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Newly elected AFAD president Edwin Lim said more than 40 members and exhibitors have already confirmed participation in the five-day arms show of top-notch sporting firearms, ammunition, and paraphernalia from renowned manufacturers and distributors.

 “AFAD’s thrust is safe and responsible gun ownership. All stakeholders are united on this mission and vision. We’re looking forward to an auspicious arms show,” said Lim, also the president of the Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA).
