LG Looks Forward to the Future

While it seems like the world pressed pause while the pandemic was going on, LG, the South Korean technology conglomerate, went hard at work to address the needs of the future. COVID fundamentally changed how business is done, from hybrid work setups to teleconferencing. An immediate need presented itself and LG rose to the challenge. 

In LG Reconnect, the fruits of LG’s labor was finally unveiled to the public. The tech event was recently held in The Podium Hall, Mandaluyong and was hosted by LG brand ambassador Andrei Felix. The function featured a vast selection of LG Commercial Displays, all ready to face the needs of the future today. 

LG Takes Flight With Its New Line of Monitors

LG Philippines unveiled its new lineup of monitors and showcased its newest, powerful and most technologically advanced monitors yet, in a Top Gun-themed event hosted by Andrei “Dreister” Felix. 

According to Sungjae “Airboss” Kim, managing director for LG Philippines, the company remains committed to innovating and enhancing its monitor line-up to adapt to the needs of its consumers. He added, “We’ve made great strides to elevate the user-experience of our monitors–from adapting to flexible workstations and upgrading our systems with new generation gaming standards.”

Over the past year, working from home has gone from the exception to the norm. The convenience of foregoing hours stuck in traffic, as well as being safe from the pandemic, directly translates to increased happiness, efficiency, and productivity. Consumers were quick to transition at home. However, not all setups were conducive as a workspace. One of the biggest issues that arose was the requirement for proper computer monitors. One of the segments that grew the most over the past year has been monitors. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), in the 4th quarter of 2020, the monitor market grew 16.9% year over year with shipments surpassing 39.2 million units worldwide.
