Archdiocesan Youth Month 2012 Digital Artwork Competition

September brings us to the excitement of the coming Christmas season, but there is also something to celebrate this month with the Archdiocese of Manila Commission on Youth with the Archdiocesan Youth Month 2012!

The month long celebration brings together the youth and challenges them. They can now also express themselves with the Digital Artwork Competition for this Youth Month.

With the theme: " A Celebration of Christian Faith" (Any of the 12 Articles of our Catholic Faith - CREDO) "...They called the church together and reported what God had dome with them and how he had opened the door of faith..." (Acts 14:27)

Archdiocese of Manila New Website Design

I just found out that the Roman Archdiocese of Manila has a new website design. As a frequent visitor for the news in the archdiocese and also a website design critique, I find the old site not that user friendly with options hard to find unless you are a returning visitor.

With the new design, which I assume uses wordpress indeed has stepped out of the shadows into a more recent and youthful look. This  move is also a great initiative as a sign using the website in reaching to more internet users which is growing exponentially here in the Metro.

I do hope that there will be more content and user interaction for the website that will help in engaging viewers and also create interactions and subscribers. And most especially this is help in evangelizing and touching the lives of people in this digital age.
