From being one of the country's hottest actors, Xian Lim is marking another milestone in his showbiz career as he is now a certified recording artist with his debut album titled “So It’s You” released by Star Records. 

After winning the hearts of primetime TV viewers in the drama series "My Binondo Girl" topbilled by Kim Chiu; enchanting ladies with his magazine covers and TV commercials; and proving his hosting skills in the recently held Bb. Pilipinas, Xian Lim is now ready to prove his talent in singing. 

'The Born Expeditions: Tale of Two Whales' finale on GMA-7's Born to be Wild

For almost two weeks, Doc Nielsen Donato and his team have been documenting whales and dolphins in Bohol's seas for The Born Expeditions: The Tale of Two Whales. 

They filmed the behavior of spinner dolphins, melon-headed whales, and bottlenose dolphins.  Until Doc's team spotted the biggest whale yet - a Bryde's whale.  Along with other marine mammals and the biggest fish in the world, the whale shark, Bryde's whales were once hunted in Pamilacan.  After what seemed like years of "absence" from Bohol's seas, a Bryde's whale sighting was finally reported by researchers in 2010.  And as Born to be Wild's footage shows, the Bryde's whale is indeed back in Bohol. 

MUSIC LYF: 4 The Best Pak na Pak - The Repeat Performance

Pokwang, Pooh, Chokoleit and K Brosas, the most talented and in demand comedians of our generation  will once again converge for their anticipated repat performance for their 4 DA BEST The Repeat Concert on May 4 and 11 (Friday) and 12 (Saturday) at the Misic Museum with special guest Ara Mina.

This after the successful first two night performance of the 4 DA BEST concert last March. The group has been knwon to be the best comedians in the country with a concert filled with skits, songs and a whole lot of fun.


Despite their busy schedules with so many different shows in TV and movies, the concert is indeed a one of a kind experience for them and their fans.


They will also imitate famous artists like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry.

HEALTHY LYF: New Study About Dengue and Green Cross New Lotion Against Insects

A recent study about a breed of mosquitoes called Aedes albopictus which has been known to carry the Dengue Virus has now been discovered to bite not only on daytime but also at night. This sets an alarm to the public as it is not exclusive in the day. The study was made by the Philippine Association of Entomologists (PAE) which  reported an increased threat of dengue against communities. Through a clinical study conducted by Filipino entomologists, it has been confirmed that a dengue-lamok species (dengue-carrying mosquitoes) bite not only during the day but at night as well. 

This breakthrough discovery debunks a common belief that dengue-lamok only bite at daytime, and that there is little or no threat of dengue at night.


“Many people believe that dengue lamok only bite during the day. This makes them feel more complacent at night, as they think there’s no more risk of dengue infection. However, this new study shows that the danger of dengue is now more serious, since infection can occur both during the day and at night,” said Dr. Barbara Laviña Caoili, PAE Secretary.

With the need  for information and interaction grows exponentially. The abuse and misuse of it has also increased in an alarming rate. That is why people in the church should also utilize the use of media especially the social media to evangelize in this modern times.
