APCC Manila 2018 Brings Stellar Guest and Exhibitor Lineup to Filipino Fans!

Enter a universe of awesomeness with the offerings of AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2018, happening on July 27 to 29 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Coming to the epic convention are celebrities Osric Chau (Supernatural series), Finn Jones (Marvel's Iron Fist), Mike Colter (Marvel's Luke Cage), and Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse, Ready Player One).

Accompanying them are a bunch of amazing interactive exhibits. There’s Marvel with Hall M, the legendary event that has been responsible for bringing exclusive trailers of blockbusters such as Captain America Civil War, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, and Black Panther to Filipino fans for four years now. Then enter Netflix with Hall N, a showcase of set recreations from hits such as Riverdale, Orange is the New Black, Marvel's The Defenders, and Stranger things, along with previews of their latest series and a panel discussion with some of its stars. Completing the immersive experience is Disney with an all-new Hall D, which promises to bring even more never-before-seen content to the eyes, ears, and hearts of fans from all over.

Acer Day 2018 Brings Popular Music Idols like Moira and IV of Spades To Play Music Together!

Last year's Acer Day was one incredible day of something unexpected but really fun. They converted the Glorietta Activity Center into a giant ball pit with music and games. This year, they come back to Glorietta, this time to "Play Music Together" with the popular music and dance artists of today like G Force Moira, and IV of Spades.

Acer Day started last year in 14 countries across Pan-Asia Pacific. This year, the celebration grows as 20 countries in the region join in on the fun. Aside from the Philippines, Acer Day 2018 will be kicking off in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Its #GlobeREADY program is in preparation for the upcoming metro-wide earthquake drill 

Globe Telecom continues to strengthen its #GlobeREADY campaign. The company will join the Metro Manila Metrowide Shake Drill this month, in line with its effort to fortify awareness of business continuity management and build resilience against calamities.

The drill will be led by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and  local government units in coordination with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

After it's successful grand relaunch concert The Next Attraction held last June 30, 2018, Bell Films (Universal Records Philippines' film production arm) officially releases the teaser trailer for their debut film 'Kontradiksyon' (a play on the words Kontra and Adiksyon) 

From Palanca Award-winning writer-director Njel de Mesa (writer of critically-acclaimed film Respeto and the film Subtext) comes this action-packed film that tackles the controversial war against drugs in the Philippines. Through the film, audiences will have the chance to see the various aspects and opposing views of the big issues in the country.
