'Call Me Papi' Finally Will Be Shown in Cinemas After Years in the Making

After years in development, the film 'Call Me Papi' by Feast Foundation and Viva Films finally has a release date in cinemas. This project which stars Royce Cabrera, Enzo Pineda, Albie Casiño, Lharby Policarpio, and Aaron Concepcion, directed by Alvin Yapan. This is a barkada movie that shows the life of cramped life of boys who become close friends.

Being a slice of life which many can also relate to the struggles, fun, pranks, and living conditions that seems like an extended family. Each of the main characters have their own struggles and which they serve as a support group to each other. With the mix of their colorful personalities and stories, it is expected to bring drama ang comedy to its audience.

The film is also dedicated to filmmaker Shandi Bacolod who was initially part of the project unfortunately passed away last June. The pandemic also forced production to stop several times which raised production cost and delayed the target showing date. The actors in real life have also made big life changes with some got engaged or married.

Now that it is finally be shown in theaters, the cast and crew is very happy that despite the delays and unfortunate events, they can finally see the fruit of many years of production, adjustments, and ready to share the fun story of Call Me Papi.

Feast Foundation shares that this is their first movie project and looking forward to making more in the future. They also plan to make educational and informational online content for kids and students. They are proud of the film which they see is a great movie showing strong friendship despite the challenges of life.

Call Me Papi will be showing in theaters December 7.
