COMCO Mundo concludes its Mission 2024 with the launch of landmark advocacy projects with IABC Philippines, Save the Children and other NGOs

Global award-winning and powerhouse communications group COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises is ending the year strong with its commitment to its Mission 2024 initiative through the launch of milestone advocacy projects with various industry and non-government organizations (NGOs).

This initiative highlights two major projects: the Save the Children #LahatDapatSafe campaign, which promotes child and family safety during natural disasters, especially around the holiday season and The Communications Olympiad, in partnership with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, a training and education program for the skills development of the next generation of communications practitioners across the country.

From an academic scholar of public relations to a thought leader in the communications field, award-winning communications practitioner and COMCO Southeast Asia’s Regional Integration & Chief Executive Director, Partner and Co-Founder Ferdinand L. Bondoy has been appointed to lead the industry’s student programs – the Students’ PR Congress (rebranded to Students’ PR Con) and Grand Prix (Hack Sprint edition) of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) and the Student Quill Awards of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines.

The 19th Philippine Quill Award is now officially open! 

Hosted by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards is the country’s most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication. A Communication Olympiad which highlights the gold standard in communication, the program fosters a spirit of friendly competition, unity and a sense of community amongst Philippine communications practitioners in pursuit of a common goal – communications excellence. 

The Philippine Quill and the Philippine Student Quill Awards honor exemplary communication research, programs, skills, and creative work. Each entry is evaluated using IABC’s highest global standard that measures and determines the finest, the sharpest, and the brightest in the business communication industry among professionals and students. The Quill has been bestowing the seal of approval to the most reputable organizations and corporations in the nation for almost two decades, emphasizing the use of excellent communication to achieve business goals and to make a difference in society.
