Josh Groban Concert With Special Guest Lea Salonga

Filipino fans shall once again be treated to world-class entertainment as Ovation Productions, on its 40th year, proudly announces that Tony Award-winner and Broadway royalty Lea Salonga now joins multi-platinum singer-songwriter Josh Groban at his special post-Valentines Manila concert this 2019. Two of the most powerful and distinct voices in the industry come together for the Bridges Tour live on February 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The unmistakable voice behind global hit "You Raise Me Up" brings his internationally recognized one-night-only show to the Philippines, backed by the magnificent ABS-CBN Orchestra, Josh’s own 5-man band, and the Ateneo Choir. This latest tour kicked off in the United States last October, marking Groban’s first tour since his sold-out Stages Tour in 2016. 

Josh Groban's brand new album Bridges was released in September 2018 to critical acclaim, featuring the singles “River,” “Granted," and “Symphony" and duets with such notable artists as Andrea Bocelli and Sarah McLachlan. Bridges Tour Live in Manila is extra special as Josh will perform songs off this record, a captivating duet or two with Lea Salonga, and his greatest hits "All I Ask," "Broken Vow," "She’s Out Of My Life," "You Raise Me Up," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "To Where You Are," "Awake," "You Are Loved (Don’t Give Up)," "Believe," among many others.

As Solaire opens up their latest events place, The Tent , they also want to make a lasting impression with a night of soulful and moving music by the legends of the industry - Barbara's Streisand, Josh Groban, and Michel Legard. And to make the night more memorable, the country's finest voices will take the stage to sing these tunes in the concerted entitled “Kuh Ledesma Christian Bautista Sing Streisand Groban Legrand” happening on October 20, 2018 

As part of the Solaire's support to Filipino artists, they have been staging concerts of OPM icons that are indeed world class.The choice of bringing the songs to life is perfect for the ranges of Christian and Kuh who are very versatile, and their experience in the industry speaks for their artistry. Their concert is also the concert debut for the venue which will pave way for more OPM acts in the future.

The choice of music of Streisand, Groban and Legrand has been part of the biggest influences of the two. Kuh shares that Streisand is one of her musical influences. Christian said that Groban plays a big role in his music. Though they have never encountered them personally, anyone can see their influence with their songs and the performances they make.

Happening on September 22 and 23, 2018, the concert has been anticipated both by their  fans. As they hail from different generations, they are adored and respected for their prowess. Lani called Asia's Nightingale has never ceased to be a gem of OPM with her songs while also championing her values as a Christian. Morissette is called Asia's Phoenix as she soars high with power in her songs and can over come great challenges singers face. Together they come to conquer and bring both of their fans together with a fusion of timeless classics of Lani, and the millennial charm of Morissette.
