It has been years since we had a cinematic experience of the Star Wars universe, and the moment that they did, it was based on the series that they had in streaming called “The Mandalorian.” Though many fans have followed the seasons of the highly rated series, there are still a lot that would come in blind when this film comes out, and I am one of them. I wanted to experience it from the perspective of a non-series viewer. And so far, it was not bad at all.
This new adventure between the Mandalorian and Grogu is not something of galactical proportions but a side quest that is still linked to the battle of the new republic and the empire. It seems that we can’t believe that Pedro Pascal is starring in this because we (almost) never got to see his face, as it is forbidden to Mandalorian culture. And we also have the star of the show, Grogu or as many would call him before, “Baby Yoda.” His charm is irresistible even when he is into the messiest predicaments, no one can ever resist his small steps, cute jumps, and the way he handles the force. They are indeed an unexpected pair up yet works well to the charm of the movie and series.
