Leading food and quick-commerce digital platform foodpanda and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) have partnered to help foodpanda’s delivery partners gain access to the government’s mandated healthcare benefits, in line with the implementation of the Universal Healthcare Program.

According to Lhecks de Castro, finance director of foodpanda Philippines, the idea for the partnership began at the height of the pandemic when the government rolled-out the massive COVID-19 testing initiative in which PhilHealth membership is required for free testing.

This 2015, Tupperware Brands manifests this lifelong value by partnering with PhilHealth for the Ready, TseKap, Go! Nationwide Simultaneous Run to promote the government corporation’s benefits and services.  

Through this activity, PhilHealth aims to further strengthen the public’s awareness about the health care benefits that all members are entitled to. This year’s theme called “PhilHealth: Ready, TSeKap, Go!” aspires to educate families on how they can steer clear of costly hospitalizations through the availment of basic health services. “TseKap” is short for Tamang Serbisyo para sa Kalusugan ng Pamilya, PhilHealth’s primary care benefit package.
