The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part - Is Everrything Still Awesome?

The second part of the Lego Movie is now here yet there has been some reservations on how it pared with the first one which got high reviews. But looking at all the lego movies that we had in the past few years, we enjoyed the movies as it was both fun for kids as well as adults.

The new Lego movie brings together the main master builder gang of Unikitty, Lego Batman, Wyldstyle, Benny, Metalbeard, and Emmet. But they face new enimies from the Duplo universe and the Sistar System. Both aliens in trhe world of Lego, it becomes a cute yet challenging war for them which shook their worlds.

This new chapter brings in new characters like Queen Wathever Wa'Nabi, General Sweet Mayhem, and Rex Dangervest (who is voiced by Chris Pratt as well), and a more expanded universe and also follows the real life lives of their owners. As it also mirrors reality like the first one, it tries to be a little mature as well with a moral that everyone will learn. However it still keeps the child-friendly charm and comedy which makes it fun to watch.

Queen Watevra is the mercurial ruler of a far-off galaxy of planets that are distinctly different from one another and are all pretty weird.  It’s the Queen’s proclamation that her subjects far and wide can be whatever they want to be, a philosophy for which she absolutely leads by example.

"The LEGO Movie 2" Goes Where No Brick Has Gone Before

Not long ago in a town called Bricksburg, a super-friendly, upbeat and endlessly optimistic guy named Emmet rose from a most ordinary life to become The Special in the mega-hit animated adventure “The LEGO Movie.” Overcoming his doubts and an apparent lack of any notable skills or experience, this LEGO minifigure in the bright orange vest bravely followed his destiny to become a Master Builder and—with the help of his friends—saved the city, won Lucy’s heart and helped make “Everything is Awesome” an irresistible dance-party singalong the world over.
