Music + Party + Run = Rexona Run Run To Your Beat 2014

We know that running is still the most participated fun sport today as many love the feel of the run as well as it can be a social activity with family, friends, and colleagues. But running as is is indeed tiring, takes a lot of energy and sometime boring with just the same thing. But it has been proven that when music is added into it, it eases the stress plus it gives that rhythmic boost for the body to follow and give its more juice to continue the run.

Rexona Run is one of the innovative fun runs that brings fun with fitness with a musical extravaganza that makes its one big street party. There will be three tunnels with their own musical genre like Hiphop, Disco and EDM. Each tunnel music is exclusively made Manila's top DJs with all the elements that make them truly a exciting experience in each pass.

led by running coach Rio Dela Cruz, this year's Rexona Run will be more fun and will bring hits of today, yesterday and new tracks plus the unique experience that everyone will truly enjoy.

From Barefoot Runner to Marathon Master

Coach Rio dela Cruz:

Beyond the big hair, the high-profile running events and the slew of product endorsements, Coach Rio dela Cruz has also been recognized for his persistence to prevail in the midst of insurmountable odds – whether in his chosen sport of running or in the challenges everyday life.

Great Things Start from Small Beginnings

Unbeknownst to many, Coach Rio’s childhood was mired by hardship. His family struggled with poverty for many years while he was growing up, making it difficult for him to get an education and pursue his training in running. He has gone through it all: from selling “ice-tubig” as an 8-year old, walking several kilometers to and from school, to winning championships and organizing the biggest marathons in the country today. His life so far has truly been a journey.
