Energized champions conquer first race of 40th MILO Marathon

The electric opening race of the 40th National MILO Marathon kicked off with over 9,300 runners crossing the finish line in Dagupan, Pangasinan. Last year’s Dagupan champion Cesar Castañeto placed first once again in the 21K male category, together with Lany Cardona in the female category. They each took home the top purse of P10,000 in cash and a trophy, and booked their slots to the National Finals in Iloilo City on December 4 to try and claim the MILO Marathon King and Queen titles.

Castañeto posted a time of 01:11:23 to clinch first place, while Julius Sermona (01:13:38) and Hernane Sore (01:14:56) grabbed the second and third places, respectively. In the distaff side, Cardona clocked in at 01:31:48, followed by Shane Acosta (01:42:27) in second place and Eunice Lata-an (01:44:11) in third.

GQWEST Implements Resource Conservation Measures

GQWEST Inc the country's premiere water franchising company has taken another step towards greening its operations by installing resource conservation methods in its Superstore.

As part of its Green Mindset Program the company installed solar panels and a system of underground and overhead cisterns to reduce its resource consumption. The company's Superstore located in Lincoln street Quezon City is its industrial grade water station that caters to its institutional clients like SM malls and Globe Telecom.

The solar panels installed will allow the company to reduce its electrical consumption. At the same time, the cisterns installed will store rainwater and help reduce water consumption and eliminate wastage. The company expects to benefit from these twin measures as it seeks to pair environmental sustainability and greater operational efficiency.

GMA Comedy Stars On The Rise This 2016!

Comedy is probably GMA's best asset in terms of their actors who are not only inclined with doing drama but also have a gift in making their viewers laugh. And before the second half of the year started, they launched new show that showcases their comedy talents as well as new shows that presents a whole new concept of fun and laughter.

We were able to sit down with the Kapuso stars Nar Cabico, Mark Herras, and Betong. They belong to two new shows namely Laff Camera Action and Conan My Beautician.  Also they have another comedy show called A1 Ko Sa Yo which stars Jackyln Jose, Gardo Versoza, Solenn Huessaff and Sef Cadayona.
