Leo Almodal Presents A Spectrum of Amazing Works In His Fahsion Show

Cebuano-Masbateño fashion designer Leo Almodal, staged his solo fashion show at Okada Manila Grand Ballroom which was filled with many works both exquisite and intricate and brought big names in the fashion and entertainment industry in one night. Held last June 22, the event was attended by entertainment celebrities, beauty queens, and models which definitely made a mark in the fashion calendar.

Leo Almodal started designing even when he was still in his college years. His passion began when he was still six years of age when he first copied the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Disney princesses featured on a milk brand's label. 

"I was doing it on a part-time basis. I accept designing and sewing work while studying," Almodal shared how he started as a designer. "My late father was a tailor. My mother was a dressmaker. They both discouraged me to follow in their footsteps."

Despite being an education degree holder, he wasn't fortunate enough to land any teaching post, but the universe conspired with his dream. He landed a job at a bridal couture shop at SM-Cebu. From there, he only stayed there for three months and got hired by Arabs and flew to Bahrain as a fashion designer.

On Monday, June 10th, Netflix shared an announcement video and the key art of the highly-anticipated historical action-drama series Pulang Araw, set to premiere on the platform on July 26th. The series will stream on Netflix 72 hours ahead of its scheduled airing on free TV and boasts a stellar cast featuring Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco and Alden Richards, with Dennis Trillo.

Pulang Araw chronicles the lives of Eduardo (Richards), Teresita (Lopez), Adelina (Forteza), and Hiroshi (Licauco) during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. Find out how the characters navigate an intricate web of loyalty, betrayals, sacrifices, and resilience amidst the backdrop of a war ravaging the country.

We know that the new Encatadia finally revealed the new Sang'gres and one of them who will take the role of Danaya, the is given to Sanya Lopez. She may be a new name in the Kapuso network but is she worthy being hailed as the new caretaker of the Earth gem?

Sanya is 19 years old and was part "Walang Tulugan" under Kuya Germs' care. She also appeared in "Half Sisters" as Lorna ,best friend of Diana (Barbie Forteza). Though she would be the freshest name among the four, she aims to prove she is worthy for the role given to her. She was also given the blessing of the original Danaya, Diana Zubiri-Smith on twitter which she also hope to meet in person very soon.

GMA Network Reveals The Sang'gres of the new Encantadia!

It has been more than a decade since we entered the world of Encantadia which is one of the highest rating and celebrated fantasy series of GMA Network. This 2016, it has been confirmed that the fantaserye will finally have a remake with a whole new cast, as many of the main characters have shifted to different networks and relationships.

The first character to be revealed was no less than the Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera to be the Ynang Reyna (Mine'a) and Raquim will be Dingdong Dantes. They finally revealed on Monday, April 4 2016, the four Sang'gres who are the keepers of the jewels of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. Though there has been a lot of speculations, fan requests and hopes, who will take over the coveted roles by Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, Karylle, and Diana Zubiri.
