GMA's "To Have And To Hold" Presents Another Level Of Infidelity Stories

Many might be fed up with stories that revolves around troubled marriages, but GMA's "To Have And To Hold" (THATH) have something more to offer. Shown after "Legal Wives" which is also a unique Marriage complexities, THATH is also a league of its own. 

It stars Carla Abellana as Erica Gatchalian, Rocco Nacino as Gavin Ramirez, and Max Collins as Dominique Ramirez. Like many love stories, it starts with a lot of romance that leads into marriage. But secrets of an affair eventually comes out at unexpected times. There was also that scene that Gavin (Rocco) had a intense monologue as he talks to Erica (Carla) who is comma and just discovered her own infidelity.

The new Encantadia has now finished with thier pilot episode, and it has been a long time since we had a prime time fantasy serye on TV and the retelling of the fan favorite show was both a challenge and an opportunity for the team who made it possible.  Since it was introduced back in 2005, it was able get high ratings and even and expanded story with Etheria and Pag-Ibig Hanggang Wakas.

Now let's look on the first episode which will give that lasting impression for the whole series.

GMA Afternoon soaps has defined Pinoy TV viewing in the afternoon. And they have brought many unique yet lovable shows that has go the viewers hooked in the siesta hours where it is the most vunerable hours of TV. And the stories won't bore you with a regular love story, or a filler to dead hours. With all original series and a line up of the best Kapuso stars, these are just some of the reasons many are hooked to the "Dramarama sa Hapon" or GMA Afternoon Prime. We had a chance to mingle with the Stars of the 3 series; Villa Quintana, Innamorata; and The Borrowed Wife.

GMA Afternoon Prime has a lot of new shows this year, and one of them is Inamorata starring Max Collins, Dion Ignacio, Luis Alandy, Jackie Rice and Gwen Zamora. "Innamorata" means My Love in Italian and made with intersting mix of Kapuso stars who have proven their prowress with shows in the Afternoon block such as Maghihintay Pa rin, Bukod Kang Pinagpala etc. 

Inamorata tells the story of Esperanza who suffers from porphyria (a genetic disorder that develops blisters, itching, and swelling of the skin specifically when exposed to sunlight),  but still has a good heart despite of the taunts, discrimination of the people around her especially her stepmother. Despite her appearance, we was loved by Edwin who is the son of the owner of the shoe factory she is working. She then is displaced and was also removed from her job but is helped by her childhood friend Dencio.

Beaming as she sat down for a quick chat while taking a break from rehearsals for “SundayAll Stars”, Max Collins looked as fresh as ever. Casting a quick glance at her laid-back charm, you’d never guess that the actress was juggling an independent film, a musical-variety show and acting lessons. “I have too much on my plate right now,” she confessed. “It’s my first time to work on an independent film and I find that the attack is very different. Sa indie film kasi parang you have to be more subtle with your acting unlike sa teleserye na talagang big emotions dapat kung minsan. Siyempre iba rin kasi yung setting namin compared sa studio.”

Pahiram ng Sandali emotion-filled finale airs this Friday

GMA Network’s compelling drama on love and relationships, PAHIRAM NG SANDALI, concludes its run with a touching finale this Friday, March 15.

The series, which is under the helm of award-winning Director Maryo J. Delos Reyes, featured a formidable cast headlined by Ms Lorna Tolentino, Christopher de Leon, Mark Gil, Alessandra de Rossi, Max Collins, Neil Ryan Sese, and Dingdong Dantes.

As the program wraps up this Friday, will Cindy (Max) finally forgive Janice (Lorna)? Will the mother and daughter seek the path of reconciliation in the end?  

What will be Cindy’s reaction if she finds out about Alex’s condition? Will Cindy’s heart soften and give Alex another chance at love or be a father to her child?

Attention Bachelors: Max Collins is loveless this Valentine’s


Max Collins, one of the lead stars of GMA’s primetime series “Pahiram ng Sandali,” is probably one of the prettiest leading ladies on primetime television today but hey, guys, as of this article’s posting, this gorgeous lady is very much SINGLE!

After a break-up with her non-showbiz boyfriend several months ago, Max Collins proudly declared that she is single and that she’s enjoying her status at the moment.  But for those who wish to ask her out on a date this Valentine’s Day, better try harder since she’s got other plans.

“Siguro magpapahinga lang muna ako or magde-date kami ng mga girl friends kong single din,” said Max.

Rumor has it that kapuso hunk Pancho Magno has his sights set on Max Collins.  The model/actor apparently named Max as his crush in showbiz.  How does Max feel about it?
