GMA Network Reveals The Sang'gres of the new Encantadia!

It has been more than a decade since we entered the world of Encantadia which is one of the highest rating and celebrated fantasy series of GMA Network. This 2016, it has been confirmed that the fantaserye will finally have a remake with a whole new cast, as many of the main characters have shifted to different networks and relationships.

The first character to be revealed was no less than the Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera to be the Ynang Reyna (Mine'a) and Raquim will be Dingdong Dantes. They finally revealed on Monday, April 4 2016, the four Sang'gres who are the keepers of the jewels of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. Though there has been a lot of speculations, fan requests and hopes, who will take over the coveted roles by Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, Karylle, and Diana Zubiri.

For the new Encantadia, Amihan will be played by Kylie Padilla who had played fantasy roles in the past and also trained with experience of action packed series. Glaiza De Castro plays Pirena which has been the role many wished for her. She also had fantasy series like Gagambino and Amaya to name a few, and known to play an effective protagonist, she is indeed perfect for the role. Gabbi Garcia will be Alena, the Sang'gre known for her beautiful song and will be romantically linked to Ybarro/Ybrahim which is most likey to be Ruru Madrid. Thus the GabRu power couple comes back along another special series "Naku Boss Ko". And Finally but not the least is Sanya Lopez who will be Danaya. Known to be the most badass among the four, Sanya maybe the new name people would expect for this project, but it also goes to the same path where Diana Zubiri also gained a lot of ground with her role.

Hagorn is now confirmed to be John Arcilla (Heneral Luna) which was played by Pen Medina back in 2005. The rest of the other characters are expected to be revealed soon. So far, I am very excited for this remake and hopefully it can revive the super fan that I was back in those days.

So we say, Avisala Mahal Na Mga Sang'gre!

For now let me entertain you with the Etheria Theme
