Community Screening for BA Original Doc “Lost & Found” Prompts the Discussion on Adoption

A special screening for the BA original documentary “Lost & Found” was held Thursday night at the TFC Studio. Representatives from local government, media, and the community saw the story of orphans from the Philippines being adopted by families from an unlikely community in the snow-covered mountains of Montana.

“Lost & Found” moved the audience. Esther Misa-Chavez of the Inquirer shared that “It’s touching. It’s a human story. For them (the children), the transition must have been difficult emotionally, physically. It was an eye-opener.”

The War Awakens John Boyega in "Pacific Rim Uprising"

John Boyega, the breakout star of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, plays the lead role of Jake, wayward son of the legendary war hero Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba), in Universal Pictures' new epic action-adventure Pacific Rim Uprising.

The original Pacific Rim had made a big impression on Boyega, in the days before he broke out as a star. “Seeing Idris Elba in the first film was very important to me. At the time I was involved in acting on a small scale in drama clubs, and in 2013 I saw a print ad while I was on the bus—Idris Elba as Stacker in an all-black Jaeger suit. The image, and what it represented, immediately struck me and motivated me.”

This is because it has to be precisely balanced to present it characters in portrayals that are not hard-selling religion which makes it spirituality like an advertisement more than message. Paul, Apostle of Christ proved that spiritual films can be artistic and moving.

Produced by Affirm Films, which made Christian Films like Fireproof and Risen, the film shows the fiinal days of St. Paul who has been travelling far and wide to build Christian communities and preach the gospel. Jim Caviezel who played Jesus Christ in Passion of the Christ is St. Luke here which somehow still has his impression of the Messiah without the Aramaic language.

"X-Men's" Cyclops Tye Sheridan Invites PH Fans to Watch "Ready Player One"

Audiences loved him as the young Scott Summers / Cyclops in Bryan Singer’s 2016 flashback of the superhero franchise, “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Now, Tye Sheridan stars as the underdog Wade Watts in Steven Spielberg's epic adventure “Ready Player One” (in Philippine cinemas Saturday, March 31.)

As More Missing Gnomes Spotted: "Sherlock Gnomes" Reveals New Posters

Following the reveal last week of the Philippine-themed poster for Sherlock Gnomes, Universal Pictures has also unveiled the special artworks exclusively created for other countries.

So, besides the Philippines, where else in the world are the missing gnomes? Turns out, they were also sighted in Egypt, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Singapore and Spain.
