Herlene Budol Makes Her First Leading Role With Puregold Channel's “Ang Babae Sa Likod Ng Face Mask”

A new romantic comedy will be stream soon on Puregold Channel as they continue with making online series which expands their reach from a growing supermarket brand into an innovating entertainment company. They will now feature a new series “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask” conceptualized with Puregold, produced by award-winning filmmaker Chris Cahilig, and directed by critically-acclaimed Victor Villanueva.

The series will feature viral social media personality and comedienne Herlene "Hipon" Budol as her first starring role in a series and paired with hunky actor Kit Thompson. The series will be available on the Puregold Channel starting March 26, 2022.

Though Herlene's nickname "hipon" seems to be an insult on her appearance, she has proven herself that she is beyond the perception of beauty by others along with her other talents of dancing, hosting, and now acting. Being paired with one of the most in-demand leading man today, Kit Thompson, they do give a charming energy which will make both of their characters more lovable.
