Go Around The World With The Mall of Asia International Food Festival

The Mall of Asia lives up to its name to be a haven of international cuisine. From Japanese, Chines, and other Asian dishes. There are also the European and American restaurants that will satisfy those western taste buds. This September, SM Mall of Asia opens it doors to foodies to a gastronomic experience with the Mall of Asia International Food Festival from September 5-30, 2014.

What is different about this food festival? Well there will be exclusive dishes that will be featured for each participating restaurant. We know that MoA (Mall of Asia) is one of the biggest malls in the world, and has a restaurant in almost every nook and cranny of the property. And believe me, it takes more than one day to get to some of the restaurants in the mall. Thus, a month long food festival fits the need of food lovers and trippers.

Want to know what's so special about the "Special Eats" at SM Mall of Asia's International Food Festival?

1) These "Special Eats" is on top of the standard menu of the participating restaurants and cafes
2) The "Special Eats" of the participating restaurants and cafes is available at their SM Mall of Asia branch only
3) Special Eats is available only for the month of September
4) By simply indulging in these Special Eats, you get a chance to win awesome prizes!

We went to some of the restaurants that are part of the Food Fest, and our first stop is Manam Comfort Filipino and then California Pizza Kitchen.

Manam Comfort Filipino

Filipino food is what we have but can it actually get better? I does and Manam opened its doors in MoA to spread the goodness of our cuisine with classics and with a twist.

With only 3 branches, and from the original NamNam Restaurant in Greenbelt, Manam did a little reinvention with the ambiance and their menu. They have a wide array of selections of Filipino staples such as sisig, lumpia, pancit etc.,

But they don't stop there, they have those dishes which they have tweaked like the Singang sa Watermelon which is my pick among the dished that we tried there.

California Pizza Kitchen

I have been posting for CPK for their new branches and menu and I am happy they are part of this Food Festival where one of my favorite pizzas (Chicken BBQ) is found.  And MoA is one of the newest branch to open to the public as they are also on the way of redecorating their stores with a more California feel.

For the food fest, they are offering a combination meal which includes a salad (House Salad, California Chopped, Watermelon Salad) + Family Pasta (Spaghetti Bolognese, Penne Alfredo, Spicy Arrabiata) + Pizza (Caprese, Super Cheesy, Italian Sausage) for only 999 pesos!

We also took a tour at Krispy Kreme where we went inside their mini factory of doughnuts and how each one is made with the finest ingredients and also the standard they follow to endure quality of each piece. Currently they have special TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) doughnuts which is in time with the movie which is also now showing.

See you all at the SM Mall of Asia International Food Festival from September 5-30! #moaintlfoodfest
