Very Merry MOA Winter Wonderland Launched With Magic of Christmas

Now we are back in doing out countdown to Christmas SM Supermalls has now officially unveiled their Christmas kick-off celebrations starting with SM Mall of Asia and their Very Merry MOA Winter Wonderland. It is always expected that the mall will be filled with their themed-inspired decorations, activities, and most especially the huge displays which many friends and family would like to take a picture creating memories of the holidays of that year.

As MOA continues to develop as the largest mall in the Philippines, it is only fitting to have the first launch here with an explosive yet fun program. A Very Merry MOA WInter Wonderland is probably one of the biggest Christmas displays in the country with a huge snow globe in the center, a moving mobile cable with the Christmas characters on board. And of course the huge 50-foot Christmas Tree beside it which is the perfect spot to take pictures.

A Tour of Telepefromance MAAX In Time For The Lunar New Year

With years of experience, I can say that call center agents are indeed another thing we can be proud of along with the hardworking OFWs who provide for their families as well as the economy. That is why I love to tour BPO offices as it also reminds me of how I started and I am also looking forward to my futures.

We were able to tour Teleperformace in MAAX (Mall of Asia Annex) which is the new location from the Mall of Asia wing which is now cyberzone. This slight change of location gave its employees a new floor to work with but never forget to have fun and be fit.

Go Around The World With The Mall of Asia International Food Festival

The Mall of Asia lives up to its name to be a haven of international cuisine. From Japanese, Chines, and other Asian dishes. There are also the European and American restaurants that will satisfy those western taste buds. This September, SM Mall of Asia opens it doors to foodies to a gastronomic experience with the Mall of Asia International Food Festival from September 5-30, 2014.

What is different about this food festival? Well there will be exclusive dishes that will be featured for each participating restaurant. We know that MoA (Mall of Asia) is one of the biggest malls in the world, and has a restaurant in almost every nook and cranny of the property. And believe me, it takes more than one day to get to some of the restaurants in the mall. Thus, a month long food festival fits the need of food lovers and trippers.

FASHIONISTA: Bum Holds Fashion Show With Cosplay as Theme

Local clothing brand BUM brings the Cosplay trend to the fore with a one-of-a-kind fashion show at the SM Mall of Asia. If you have a story to tell, don’t keep it to yourself. Flaunt and let the world know through fashion.

This has been the youth’s battle-cry these days. Not only are they daring, wearing their colors on their sleeves proudly, they are pushing the envelope when it comes to dressing up, as well.

Even the term “costume play” or “cosplay”, which is the act of dressing up as a fictional character inspired from an anime TV series, or a character they idolized, has found its way into the youth’s wardrobe. Cosplay is no longer a style but it has become a “trend” that is normally seen and worn on the streets.

MUSIC LYF: Justin Bieber Grand Fans Day

JUSTIN BIEBER
GRAND FANS DAY

Although I was not able to go to the talked about and successful MY WORLDS TOUR Concert of Justin Bieber, I was able to experience something like it at the Justin Bieber Grand Fans Day held at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia on May 6, 2011.  Fans can have photos taken with a JB cutout and also post their message on the freedom wall. There is also face painting and free baller or shirt for a CD purchase. Fan can also have the chance to win VIP tickets, for the concert on May 10, 2011 on the Mall of Asia concert grounds, which excites the whole crown into screams wanting to have one.. There were also limited edition items like JB shirts and posters given to attendees.
Loved my millions of fans especially young girls and oddly even some teenage boys, Justin Bieber did came a long way from a small town boy to worldwide youtube and music sensation. And as he tours around Asia and Australia. And they have the concert fever already even its still 4 days away.

For the Fans day there will be several acts that will perform like 1:43. And of course, they will sing some of the songs by JB. Fans who shared their message to JB via the freedom wall which looks like a giant love letter. Though not really a fan myself, I just wondered how he was able to catch the hearts of so many girls (and boys) around the world. Probably most the artists we have right now are not of the 'teen' age, and Justin Bieber was at the right place at the right time. So as of the moment, aside from the heat wave, we are also stuck with the Bieber Fever. So are you also a BeliBier?

Pacquiao and Hardworking Pinoys Trubute Art at the Mall of Asia Seaside

There is truth in the saying “no pain, no gain,” and Filipinos, more than anyone else in the world, best exemplify that pain is a symbol of perseverance, strength and courage. We are, after all, known globally as hard-working people who strive for excellence in whatever we do.

Time and again, we’ve witnessed how Filipinos wear their pain with pride and honor, as badges of jobs well done. Often, simple workers—such as those who toil under the sun, teach children in rundown classrooms, sew hundreds of garments a day, and go through much pain and sacrifice—steer the country towards the future. They are the true heroes of the country. It is these amazing, hardworking Filipinos, who accomplish even the most ordinary tasks with extraordinary dedication, that Alaxan FR lauds and salutes with the “Aray Ko Galing Ko” campaign.

Discovering Fun and Facts at the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center!

Knowledge is definitely power especially when it is applied at an early age, and what better way to condition young minds into thinking and critical brains is to expose them to fact about the world. Yes, there are a lot of books available in the market and bookstores, however it would be best that we can experience them so we could and also know how to apply them. It is good to know that there are places of learning wherein we can encounter these facts and work young minds into interested individuals.
Aside from the museums and libraries, there are also centers for science and technology like the Nido Science Discovery Center at the Mall of Asia that caters to these needs. I recently got the chance to experience the facility as it is filled with a lot of things that even I at my age is still a new learning for me. The main attraction of the center is the Planetarium that has the latest technology in showing films and presentation using the dome as the screen like most planetariums but more clearer and with surround sound.
The kids will also like the interactive games and features that corresponds to the topic being discussed. There is a lot of interactive games and activities that one can enjoy at the same time also learn a lot about the world especially with technology and taking care of the environment. From robots to under the sea, the jungle and the polar ice caps. For all children and kids at heart, having a day at the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center will be more than a fun-filled day, but also a great chance of learning new things about the world.
They had recent activities like Search for the BLURB and also the launch of the new film that will be shown in the planetarium

Mentos Fresh Burst Geyser Event!

I love Mentos, I also love Coke. What happens if you mix them together? That is why I am trying to prove when I went to the mentos and coke event for the most number of soda geysers. The last record was held by Mexico last June and now, it the Pinoys turn to take a shot at this unquie but fun activity.

Manila Jaycees CLICK The Third Entrep Summit! Click to get free tickets!

For the three years now, JCI Manila (Manila Jaycees) has been staging the Entrep Summit – a gathering of prominent entrepreneurs from different fields who share their experience and life lessons in the hopes of encouraging or inspiring individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations. This year, the Entrep Summit will feature trailblazing entrepreneurs who have been successful in tech and digital media related endeavors. This project encapsulates one JCI-Manila tenet that "economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise" and cement JCI Manila as a leadership organization actively participating in the business concerns of young leaders and entrepreneurs. Being the lifeblood of the Philippine economy, the SMEs should consciously adapt and grow with market changes and take steps to attaining their business goals - thus coining the term "Entrep Summit".

Proceeds from the Entrep Summit 2010 will go to the various JCI Manila community development activities under the “Dare to C.A.R.E” umbrella program for the Smokey Mountain Community which offers various community services to the area such as scholarship, sports program for the youth, livelihood, mentorship, and education to name a few.
