REEL DEAL: Kong Skull Island REVIEW

King Kong has been a household name for almost a century and it had many incarnations and interpretations which made it one of the most iconic monsters on film. Now this year, the king is back with Kong: Skull Island.

But this Kong is bigger, badder, and deadlier. The expedition for the search was  large party which is led by a government organization called Monarch. This leads to forming a team which includes a tracker, a photo journalist and the military.

Kong was powerful, violent and unbound. With the island itself a place of very odd creatures and they are deadly. As another film showing the famous gigantic primate, this is indeed scary AF.  There were a lot of jump scares in the movie which works best in 3D or IMAX.

Kong is also connected to the 2014 Godzilla movie which will also lead to more movies in the future, thus the Kong will definitely have a lot of appearances in future movies. Also there is an end credit scene so don't leave early!

Kong: Skull Island stars Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham,  Thomas Mann, Terry Notary, and John C. Reilly. Now showing in cinemas, distributed by Columbia Pictures.

EXTRA!

We also got to see a 5 minute preview of DUNKIRK which is directed by  Christopher Nolan which will also see within this year. A war movie which is based on the Dunkirk Invasion during World War II. The preview was full of suspense and the "Nolan" touch, definitely excited for its release soon.

Deliberation time kids!
