Puregold Channel's "Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile" Looks Like A Promising Series Franchise

In the middle of the Aling Puring Sari-sari Store Negosyo Convention, Puregold Channel makes a statement with a press conference for “Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile,” which stars Wilbert Ross and Yuki Takahashi. The online series can be watched at Puregold Channel's Youtube account. The channel has produced several online series such as "Ang Babae sa Likod ng Facemask," "GV Boys," and "52 Weeks." which also made rounds in social media.

As one of the proud productions made by Puregold, it is apt that it would also be presented at convention which also makes a statement that along with being a supermarket brand, they are now also venturing into producing online series and content.

Produced by award-winning filmmaker and producer Chris Cahilig, and directed by Victor Villanueva, it tells the story of Bryce (Wilbert Ross), a young gamer taking his first uneasy steps into the world of dating with virtual wingman Angge (Yukii Takahashi) by his side.

As the title is similar to "Ang Babae sa Likod ng Facemask," it seems that there is a possible franchise that can be made into more series. So far, they have not confirmed this but acknowledged the possibility. And with the good reception for the series, it seems that more of these stories are in the works. They have also hinted that they are now working with more but holding on the details.

“Ang Lalaki Sa Likod Ng Profile” also casts Kat Galang as Genski, Migs Almendras as Ketch, Marissa Sanchez as Bessie, Star Orjaliza as Yaya Aimee, Moi Marcampo as Chili Anne, TJ Valderrama as Cyrus, and Anjo Resurreccion as Jerry. Wilbert also showed his talent in singing with some songs from the series also joined with Yuki which you can also feel the chemistry between the two. Their pairing also sparks the posibility that they can do more romance and comedy projects together.
