The prolific singer-songwriter/producer expresses pure joy and romantic connection in his newly released track

After topping the charts last year with his hit single “Muli,” Filipino singer-songwriter/producer Ace Banzuelo continues his winning streak with the release of his 2023 single “Tadhana”—out on Friday, February 17 via Sony Music Entertainment.

More Sony Music Philippines artists join the Eheads nostalgia party with their fresh take on “Ang Huling El Bimbo” and “Superproxy”

Following the positive reviews that SB19 and NOBITA earned for their unique spin on The Eraserheads’ beloved classics, more OPM acts have come together to pay tribute to the country’s biggest and most influential band of all time.

Multi-hyphenate pop soloist Ace Banzuelo reinterprets “Ang Huling El Bimbo” with intimate, soul-crushing details. Transforming the epic anthem into a spacey jam, the young hitmaker peels back the layers of the original with his brooding, bedroom-pop styling. He imprints his own identity to the material, while valuing the lyrical profundity and awe-inspiring bigness of the original.

Ace Banzuelo embraces a darker, more melancholic turn on breakup song “Walang Himala”

The Filipino hitmaker channels ’80s synth-pop with brooding themes and modern R&B textures

Following the chart-topping success of “Muli” and the release of its viral music video starring ABS-CBN stars Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, Ace Banzuelo returns with another potential hit that is guaranteed to whet the appetite of music fans across the country.

Released under Sony Music Philippines, the Filipino recording artist’s new single “Walang Himala” carries the inherent weight of dealing with a partner’s betrayal. The melancholic synth-pop track serves as antithesis to Banzuelo’s earlier song Himala: a sad little tune that reduces listeners to a pool of misery, written as if he hibernated for months in his own mancave— devoid of light, and completely immersed in the grieving process.

Ace Banzuelo conquers the insurmountable with trap-infused pop single “Mayari”

Manila-based singer-songwriter/producer Ace Banzuelo has captivated music listeners from all over the world with his introspective fusion of electronic, hip-hop, indie, and pop music. His earlier singles “Himala” and “Malayo,” both released in 2020, have amassed a combined 4 million streams on Spotify alone, making him one of the most exciting new solo acts in recent memory.

To add up to his roster of achievements, Ace Banzuelo was also handpicked as part of Spotify Radar’s global emerging artist program for a second year in a row—an impressive feat that allows his music to reach more people outside of the country. “I can't deny the amazing feeling I get when I heard about this,” the 20-year-old artist said. “I know this is just the beginning for me as a young musician, but I truly value everyone who supports the music and the Asian scene. With this recognition, I stay committed to my dreams and improving my craft.”
