Rivals Turned Buddies Derek & Hansel Return in "Zoolander 2"‏

The fashionably unbreakable tandem of male models Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) returns in Paramount Pictures' hilarious comedy, “Zoolander 2,” the sequel to the 2001 cult classic “Zoolander.”

The road to Derek and Hansel’s return to the big screen was long and winding, spanning 15 years and several incarnations. With each incarnation throughout the development process, the return of the duo of Derek and Hansel, was unwavering, constant, and always central to the story.

When operating in a world as outrageous as that of male models in the fashion industry, the strength of the characters is what essentially grounds the movie, and director and screenwriter Ben Stiller knew the return of the core tandem was paramount. “At the end of the day people connect with characters. When someone tells me that they love Zoolander, to me that means that they love the characters and Derek and Hansel, because they are what make it what it is,” remarks Stiller.

When we last saw male models Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson), they were enjoying the wonders of the “Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can’t Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too,” and Mugatu (Will Ferrell) was behind bars. An unforeseen catastrophe strikes the Center and forces the duo into seclusion, living off the grid. Fifteen age-defying years later we find a still shamed Derek and Hansel leading isolated, separate lives, shut-out from the rest of the world.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson continue boosting their career as supermodels.

The actors, who attended the premier of “Zoolander 2” in Rome on Saturday night, along with colleagues Will Ferrell and Justin Theroux, posed in the shopping windows of Valentino flagship on Sunday afternoon. The Roman-based fashion house collaborated with the movie’s costume designer Leesa Evans on a range of outfits for the comedy.

In the new trailer, it is revealed that Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) has been in hiding from the fashion world, and that Penelope Cruz's character was a swimsuit model who could never transition to couture (!).

“Zoolander 2 opens across the Philippines in February 2016 and will be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

In “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” Ben Stiller returns as security guard Larry Daley, together with a highly impressive group of comic actors. Owen Wilson is back as the irrepressible miniature cowboy Jedediah, along with his equally small buddy, the Roman general, Octavius, (Steve Coogan). Both are embroiled in the latest adventure, directed by Shawn Levy. As always, the legendary artifacts at New York’s Museum of Natural History come to life, but this time, problems arise when they start malfunctioning. The magic that keeps them alive is waning and Larry’s friends are in danger. Saving them involves an urgent trip to the British Museum in London.

While the first two films were set in the U.S., the new adventure takes the team to the United Kingdom. Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan, reprise their roles as the duo of American cowboy Jedediah and Roman Centurion Octavius, both miniatures from historic dioramas. They’re the smallest characters with the biggest friendship. Wilson says, “There has been an arc to our relationship. We started off sort of as adversaries, and now it’s evolved into more of a team. We’re practically a buddy comedy within a funny family movie.”

There, they encounter Ahkmenrah’s powerful father (Ben Kingsley), who created the tablet, in addition to a bewildered security guard (Rebel Wilson) and a nutty Sir Lancelot (Dan Stevens).

In a peaceful and simple suburban town of Glenview, Ohio, where everything seems to be perfect will be the target of a very big invasion that will also determine the fate of mankind. Evan  Truartwig, a manager of the local Costco manager forms a team called "The Neighboorhood Watch" to investigate the murderer of his co-worker.

Though very active in the community with putting up clubs for the residents, he has very few friends. With the establishment of "The Neighborhood watch", he met 3 interesting individuals, (Bob, Jamarcus, and Franklin) who will be part of a big discovery. 

The Watch  (orginally titled "Neighborhood Watch" with an original alien-themed, bullet-ridden poster, bearing a modified neighborhood watch sign, that was replaced as Fox sought to distance the premise from the Trayvon Martin case.)  brings together Ben Stiller Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade. With each has a very interesting comedic style, it brings a lot of interesting scenes with each dialogue.
