Hellboy was an interesting superhero character which had its own film back in 2004. From there he has become the unconventional hero who despite of his looks and origin, would still choose to be good and save the world.With the announcement of a reboot film came with some concerns if it was necessary and if would be effective. However, since it has been more than a decade since the last film, the clamor to have a new one rose and supporters grew with the idea. Now playing the hell-born demon is David Harbour from Stranger Things which also deals with the paranormal entities affecting the town. But Hellboy is far more complicated and more sinister which makes it a big deal.
This retelling of the story of Hellboy allows to make changes with the characters based on the comics where it originated. With ths version, it becomes more R-rated with gore and violence as integral part of the story. It was kinda shocking compared to the original which makes it own charm to the viewers.
