Expanding the wide range of options to achieve a carbon-neutral society

Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) announced that it will be participating in the IDEMITSU SUPER ENDURANCE SOURTHEAST ASIA TROPHY 2023 (Thailand 10- hour Endurance Race) to be held on December 22 and 23 at Thailand's Chang International Circuit. It will compete with a three-vehicle setup for ROOKIE Racing featuring the ORC ROOKIE GR86 CNF concept, a GR86 running on carbon-neutral fuel; the ORC ROOKIE GR Corolla H2 concept, a hydrogen-powered Corolla; and the CP ROOKIE PRIUS CNF-HEV GR concept, a newly added Prius HEV running on carbon- neutral fuel. The new Prius competing in this year's race has been developed based on a production vehicle, marking the first time that Toyota has competed with a production Prius HEV.

Toyota partners with Santa Rosa and Pasay cities for free community shuttle, eases commuting with an app

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation partners with the City Government of Santa Rosa and City Government of Pasay for the Toyota Community Shuttle (TCS) – a free on-demand, shared transportation service, which will be delivered via digital interface.

Under separate agreements, TMP is providing each city government with a fleet of five (5) brand-new and airconditioned Toyota Lite Ace units that will run on flexible routes within city boundaries.

The TCS is set to provide free rides for a year starting December 1, 2023 in Santa Rosa City and December 2, 2023 in Pasay City.

The National Finals marked the culmination of the TGR GT Cup PH 2023 season with the Sporting Class finalists battling it out for a slot in Team Philippines for the TGR GT Cup 2023 Asia Finals. The event featured three races, each with a different track and car. Racers took on Trial Mountain in the GR 86 for the first race, Sardegna – Rally Cross in the GR Yaris RZ for the second race, and Mount Panorama in the GR Supra Race Car ’19 for the third and final race.

E-motorsport fans around the country gathered to watch the first round of the 2023 TGR GT Cup PH last June 28, 2023—the first of its three qualifying rounds. The first round featured the Tsukuba Circuit racetrack and the GR 86 as the sim car.
