Scorching Hot!

TANGO FIRE from Argentina ignites Manila’s passion on January 17-18, 2012

For two nights only, the world-renowned Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires will be performing in Manila at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila on January 17 to 18, 2012 at 8PM. Dubbed “Tango Fire—Flames of Desire,” the performance is bound to excite Manila’s dance-lovers, especially those craving to see an authentic Argentine Tango performance headlined by authentic—hot-blooded!— Argentinean dancers.

Direct from Buenos Aires, the sensational Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires presents their new show “Tango Fire—Flames of Desire” featuring ten torrid dancers, one of Argentina's finest young singers, and a quartet of brilliant musicians.

“Tango Fire —Flames of Desire” takes you on a seductive journey through the history of Tango, the world's most alluring and exciting dance form. Tracing the roots of Tango, from its origins from the dance halls of Buenos Aires, to its rising popularity on the contemporary entertainment scene, the Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires has become a true worldwide phenomenon.

Set against the musical backdrop of Astor Piazzolla, Mores, Gardel, Rodriguez and other Tango masters, the company has toured the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, Asia and South Africa to the highest acclaim. The Boston Globe raves that “rarely has the tempestuous Tango looked like so much exuberant, out-and-out fun as with the Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires.” Though other Tango shows abound, “Tango Fire Company leaves you burning to take up where they left off,” claims The London Paper.

Blah Blah Blogs Ber Edition: 11.11.11

11.11.11
Another moment in time that only happens in a century and here we are again. Today is the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year of the 21st century. A moment that will happen in another 100 years.  I had  blog post in the past celebrating these rare occasions like 8-8-8 and 9-9-9 (10-10-10  was a busy day but memorable).

This day is also a memorable and busy day. With lot of events left and right. Probably because of the belief that this day is indeed lucky. I made this post just to make a note of this day. I don't really rely on luck but I love to talk about what will happen, will update this post with the things will do today.

I hope your day (11-11-11) is doing good!

MUSIC LYF: Christian Bautista - Outbound

CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA is one of my favorite local singers of all time not just because he sings well but has a lot of talent that is waiting to be tapped (and now exposed) that makes his songs trully moving and making a mark on its own. His efforts is now recognized by the National Youth Commission and the ASEAN.  Also he releases his new (and international) album, OUTBOUND.

Hestarred in his first international film A Special Symphony. He is part of the first Pan-Asian musical TV series The Kitchen Musical. He is also the only recording artist to receive a 4x Platinum Record Award for Romance Revisited: The Love Songs Of Jose Mari Chan for 2011. He worked with Grammy-nominated pianist Jim Brickman, K-Pop R&B trio One Way, and fronted for the concerts of K-Pop sensations Rain and 2NE1. He also topbilled jampacked concerts here and abroad. He also has numerous endorsements tucked under his belt coupled with billboards all over the Metro and has consistently won numerous awards and citations.

With all these career highlights, Christian Bautista remains humble expressing and thankful for all these blessings. “Ever since I took the very first steps in my career, I cherished all the lessons and experiences I’ve gained through all those years- the ups and downs, the highlights and the difficult moments. These helped me hone my craft and led me to doors of opportunities. Every recognition that goes my way, favorable or critical comments on my work challenge me to do better because I owe it to my audience that I utilize my full potential,” says Christian.

HEALTHY LYF: Diana Stadler by Dermaline

Its my first time to attend a SPArty and excited what will happen. I'm not really a regular at beauty shops because I don't know what  service should I avail and what would be best for me. Though familiar with scientific advances on cosmetology, still I have a lot to learn about aesthetics. I am thankful to be invited by Dermaline to experience this and learn more.
Dermaline has been in the beauty business for 15 years now and this gives the company a good reputation and also the experience of providing world class beauty services.  Brazilian Model-Actress Diana Menezes trust Dermaline to take care of her skin. Also note that they also have soaps used and endorsed by Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby. And I loved these soaps because they are indeed effective. Though I'm not a fan of facials because I don't like the pricking part, I gave it another try here at the SPArty at Dermaline. And I was not disappointed, the pricking was not that bad and I felt indeed more fresher  I am considering having another session if ever.
