AXN Announces “Asia’s Got Talent” Premiere:

AXN announces today that “Asia’s Got Talent” is set to premiere first on AXN on 12 March 2015, airing on Thursdays at 8.05pm (SG, MY, PH, HK) / 7.05pm (JKT, BKK). The series is the biggest talent competition in the world featuring some of the region’s most incredible performing artists as they compete to take home the coveted winning title.  

Officially launching “Asia’s Got Talent” today is the series’ esteemed celebrity judging panel made up of 16 time Grammy-winning Canadian musician David Foster, UK pop sensation and former Spice Girl Melanie C., Indonesian rock icon Anggun, and Taiwanese-American pop idol and actor Van Ness Wu. The judges met with 500 members of the media, sponsors and partners for the first time at the “Asia’s Got Talent” showcase held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

FOX Anticipates High Viewership For The Return Of The Walking Dead Season 5

Manila, Philippines, February 2015 —For the return of one of its most successful TV series, FOX Philippines is anticipating ratings to go through the roof as it did in October 2014 for the Season 5 premiere of The Walking Dead. The hit post-apocalyptic drama series from the US garnered the highest-rated telecast ever for the channel, beating the Season 4 premiere by 57 percent in terms of total number of viewers and making it the top pay channel during the 8:55 PM telecast on October 13, 2014. As a human from Earth, Jupter (Kunis), finds herself into a complicated situation as the reoccurence (reincarnation) of the most powerful dynasty in the Universe. And of course this comes with threats of being killed or being used.

As it also reveals complex revelation about earth, beliefs, and long term struggle for power in the galaxy, it poses as an advantage and disadvantage to her on how can she handle this title that she hold.

Channing maybe the knight for her as he is the fighter and the hunter for her survival, while Jupiter shows her values and inteligence with her action. And wiith all these alien tech and characters, it comes with a lot of action and chase scenes. With each scene filled with details of the machinery and firepower used, it also raised awareness of sci-fi items that geeks would love.

UST and Hercor College are National Champions in the Ajinomoto® UmamiCulinary Challenge year 6

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) won the Umami Bowl Award (for the 2nd year) and the Luzon-Visayas-Mindanao Showdown for My Own Umami Creation during the recently concluded Ajinomoto® Umami Culinary Challenge (UCC) 2015. Sharing the spotlight with UST is Hercor College from Roxas City, who won the Best Filipino Umami Dish Luzon-Visayas-Mindanao Showdown. The event attracted thousands of HRM and Nutrition students in 54 schools from NCR, Ilocos, CALABARZON, Central Luzon and Bicol Regions and regional winners from Visayas and Mindanao.

Disney has just released the first images from the animated short “Frozen Fever.”

The upcoming “Frozen” sequel short—which will play in front of the live-action “Cinderella” — has Elsa (Idina Menzel) trying to throw a big, birthday bash for Anna (Kristen Bell). However, it turns out the cold can bother Elsa, and the way she experiences the symptoms is different than everybody else. “Elsa doesn’t get a cold in the usual way,” co-director Jennifer Lee tells USA Today. “She’s special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc.” Lee and co-director Chris Buck promise other surprises as well.
