Tips and reminders when buying a house during the pandemic

Security, control, belonging, identity, and privacy – these are only a few of the things that a home provides for you and for your family. It's a place that provides us with a centering—a place from which we leave when the sun goes up and to which we go back to rest and feel serenity when the sun goes down.

The home is also the most important place where the most important values in life are taught to every child. Knowing the values that a family cherishes helps increase harmony and peace among all family members.

The Gentle Isolation pays homage to cult indie favorites on “Sound Wave”

Indie pop outfit Gentle Isolation revisits the eternal appeal of their music favorites on “Sound Wave,” their latest single under Lilystars Records.

Written in 2014, the effervescent twee pop anthem pays tribute to the obscure pop heroes that inspired the band to make music. “Our latest track is an ode to the music that we held dear like one of our close friends: they come and go because of the inevitable proliferation of trends, but they’ll remain special in our hearts,” guitarist and vocalist Monch Cristobal says.

Newest Star Pop Talent Kanishia Launches Debut Single “A Little Taste of Danger”

Star POP has introduced its latest artist, multi-hyphenate Kanishia, who is launching her debut single “A Little Taste of Danger” tomorrow (October 16).

Coincidentally, Kanishia breaks into the mainstream with her frisky debut single “A Little Taste of Danger,” about wanting to go out of one’s comfort zone and exploring more of what life and the world have to offer.

The spirited song was written and composed by singer-songwriter Marion Aunor, and produced by Jack Rufo and ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo.

Kanishia is a welcome addition to the rich talents under Star POP—an ABS-CBN Music label for the younger audience headed by Rox Santos.

Christi Fider Bubbly chanteuse charms with Teka, Teka, Teka

“To be a successful singer,” is a dream that not everyone gets to realize. Not with Christi Fider. At first glance, you may think she is just the average millennial whose main preoccupation is the latest fashion, trendy gadgets and having all her YOLO moments enumerated and shared via her vlog. There is more to the pretty young Ms. Fider that meets the proverbial eye.

The AB History graduate from University of Sto. Thomas was exposed to different sounds and music growing up in a family whose love for anything and everything that has to do with music is deeply rooted. The early musical exposure, thanks to all the tapes and vinyl records played at home, watching concerts and listening to the radio, made Christi realize that performing is what she loves and she thanks God for the gifted of a good singing voice.

Fider shares: “When I take my shower, usually I sing pop songs. I also like Broadway tunes as well. It depends on my mood, really. Sometimes I have the mood to like indie musicians, the type that ordinary people would not care to listen too, or something they are not familiar with. My music range is very wide. For now, I have a bit of struggle on what genre to specialize since it is dependent on my mood. If the song resonates with me, or I like the artists singing it, I’d probably sing it too.”
