MUSIC LYF: Red Hot Chili Peppers New Album, I'm With You

They are back! After almost a 2 year hiatus, multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers releases their tenth studio album, I’m With You, on Warner Music Philippines. Recorded at East West In Los Angeles and Shangri-la in Malibu, CA, I’m With You was produced by Rick Rubin, who has produced the band’s previous five albums, 2006’s Stadium Arcadium, 2002’s By The Way, 1999’s Californication, 1995’s One Hot Minute, and 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The album was mixed by Andrew Scheps and Greg Fidelman.

Just want to take this moment to give a shout out to one special mother that we all know. She is a mother, a Queen, and a intercessor. She bore man's savior and became the handmaid of the Lord. A role model of being pure and loving and a mother that understands. No matter religion or creed she cared and loved each one of us. A woman deserving of the praise and recognition from the people of Earth. She has no mystical powers but her power is to love which is the greatest thing on Earth. Her legacy reign for more than 2000 years and counting. Yet she remains humble. Though we clothe her with silk and jewels, she preferred simple garments. She also gone though rough time, and sorrow that one would die to bare. I send this ode as a tribute and also my thanks to the one and only Mary, the mother of Jesus Chirst.

What is unique about this movie is it not the usual drama films since it focuses more on the sport of running. It is inspired by true stories and could be closes to the biography of Elma Muros, who also has a cameo on the film. 

Starring Maja Salvador as Thelma, she goes through a series of situations that affects her family and also her career.  The film also stars Techie Agbayani as Floring, Thelma's mother. John Arcilla as Ado, her father.  Eliza Pineda as Hannah, her younger sister.Jason Abalos as Sammy, who is her love interest in the film.
