Google Philippines celebrates Dolphy’s 92nd birthday with doodle

Today, Google Philippines celebrates the 92nd birthday of the comedian, actor, producer, and philanthropist Rodolfo ‘Dolphy’ Quizon with a doodle. This illustrates the country’s King of Comedy whose charm and humor warmed hearts and made him a household name among millions of Filipinos. 

Born on this day in 1928 in Manila, Dolphy’s interest with the performing arts began in his childhood when he was selling peanuts and watermelon seeds at movie theaters. Able to watch movies for free, the young Dolphy started dreaming of becoming an actor and landed his first small film role at age 19. This was followed by years of hard work and success in film and radio before he made his big television debut with the 1960s series “Buhay Artista” (“Actor’s Life”). 

Mayor Robes of SJDM City Welcomes Good News On His Birthday

The City of San Jose Del Monte celebrates the birthday of Mayor Arthur Robes during the flag ceremony at city hall. Though the actual date is on November 6, they made a program to show their love and gratitude for his service.  

Along with the many projects that Mayor Arthur, they have also received several accreditation and recognition for different departments of the city government. One of them is the Seal of Good Local Governance awards given by the DILG in recognition of municipalities and cities which has shown improvement and consistency with how they run their local units.

The most common thing you would hear from people to a person who just turned 32. Though I think someone will be using that line once they know it's my birthday. Yes I am now officially 32. I don't feel ashamed of the age since it is more of how I am living my life now that scrambling for achievements.

At this age, many people have been domesticated with their own families with children (plus maybe a pet or two). Some have reached a higher status in life compared to ten years ago. Some (or mostly) feel that their metabolism slowed down and is now feeling the weight on their waists like me.

Bangs Garcia Celebrates Her Birthday With Fans

Bangs Garcia grew her career as a Kapamilya and has gone a long way from just being "Bangs" of the Let's Go and GoKada Go. Now she has projects from afternoon (Kapamilya Gold, Kambal sa Uma and Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal?) to primetime (Dyesebel).  

She was also featured in several magazines like FHM, Maxim and Uno. Still young and a favorite for her versatile acting prowess, Valerie "Bangs" Garcia has proven herself in showbiz and is also eyeing to be a future entrepreneur.

Just want to take this moment to give a shout out to one special mother that we all know. She is a mother, a Queen, and a intercessor. She bore man's savior and became the handmaid of the Lord. A role model of being pure and loving and a mother that understands. No matter religion or creed she cared and loved each one of us. A woman deserving of the praise and recognition from the people of Earth. She has no mystical powers but her power is to love which is the greatest thing on Earth. Her legacy reign for more than 2000 years and counting. Yet she remains humble. Though we clothe her with silk and jewels, she preferred simple garments. She also gone though rough time, and sorrow that one would die to bare. I send this ode as a tribute and also my thanks to the one and only Mary, the mother of Jesus Chirst.

Year 23

Yup, Its My Birthday...an I am making this one at 4 am in the morning, not that I have not slept but I just finished my Iron Man 2 review before hitting the sack. The movie was not free and I think it was like a treat to myself. But still now that I am *ahem* older, I dont care, age is not defines me, but what I am today is what reflects me.   The picture you see above is not a political ad but something I have made years ago and NO, I will not run for politics. Just love to make you smile with what I can do, in any way that I can. I was also flooded with greetings over at my facebook which I try to respond to all of them. I have over 1000 friends, and I know most of them personally. My Palanca entry won't be possible since its deadline already, oh well better luck next year. I will still try. I have been to a lot these times yet I still fins reasons to be very very happy. To tell you the truth I really want to receive a gift today, but it does not matter how small or expensive it is, it will still make my birthday a great day. Tomorrow is Labor day and Free Comic Book Day, so there is also something to be excited after this day. Yey!
