Capestone Pictures Inc. has joined forces with Solar Entertainment Corporation in the romantic comedy team-up of sexy and beauteous Solenn Heusaff and talented new actor Kiko Matos.

Mumbai Love is a cross-cultural romantic comedy shot on location in India and the Philippines. The story is centered on the love between Solenn and Kiko from two different worlds who will risk everything even racial differences of age-old traditions because of their love for each other.

Solenn has enjoyed doing the movie Mumbai Love. She has improved her craft, the reason why she has lots of projects both on TV and the movies.Her film titled Status: It’s Complicated is doing well in the box office and her TV series Sa Akin Pa Rinang Bukas is gaining more followers who love drama and suspense.

REEL DEAL: Bride For Rent BlogCon

KimXi fever continues with another screen love team up starts the year 2014 with a romantic comedy "Bride for Rent" . From their successful first movie "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo" last year, fans have been clamoring for the next movie that they will belong.

A wedding movie at the start of the year is odd, yet enticing since its starts the new year with love and fun. Kim and Xian has proven than their loveteam has grew and loved by many of their fans. 

Kim is a natural with witty statements, although sometime it would also be misinterpreted (during the grand presscon with her statement of "We don't owe you our personal lives," however, all the people involved including Kim have eventually been settled. And Kim felt the love of her fans as statement of support also kept her spirit high despite the incident. You can actually check out the complete BlogCon video below.

MUSIC LYF: Capital Cities to perform at AYALA MALLS on January 11 & 12

Los Angeles indie electro unit Capital Cities first came together as a duo of composers/songwriters Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian. The two initially met on craigslist in 2008 and worked as jingle writers until they formed the band in 2010. They released an EP independently in 2011 that included the song “Safe and Sound,” an upbeat mesh of programming and melody that went viral and gained the act a lot of Internet exposure. The music video is currently nominated in this year’s 56th Grammy Awards. Eventually, Merchant and Simonian were joined by bassist Manny Quintero, trumpeter Spencer Ludwig, guitarist Nick Merwin, and drummer Channing Holmes. Their new single “Kangaroo Court”

The fully realized live version of Capital Cities played festivals internationally. Their debut full-length studio album “In a Tidal Wave of Mystery” is exclusively distributed MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines).

REEL DEAL: 47 Ronin REVIEW

Admit it, you missed Keanu Reeves and his movies which some became cult classics and blockbusters, he did made a movie last year with "Man of Tai Chi" which he also directed but we would like to see him shine as the lead, and his latest "47 Ronin" is coming to theaters this January 8 in the Philippines with a band of brotherhood, mythological creatures, and a lot of sword fights in the time of feudal Japan.

Japan back then was indeed mysterious yet refined. With a high regard for the Bushido code and the Samurai Chivalry, the society is a mix of the honorable warriors but also of a dark underbelly and enchanted creatures that does not mix well together. With the Japanese culture rich with traditions, mythologies and ceremonies, 47 Ronin showed these in a fashionable way but sometimes may be dragging especially who are not familiar with the culture.

Based on the legendary 47 Ronin, it is a fantasy-action that is visually entertaining and presents the culture and politics in a very fashionable light. The 47 who lost their master seek vengeance and justice goes trough a lot with the goal to restoring the honor and showing loyalty to their fallen daimyo.

MUSIC LYF: Lea Salonga's Back With The Playlist The Repeat

If you missed the first two nights of "The Playlist" last December like me, Lea Salonga treats fans and music lovers to another session of her 35th anniversary concert happening at the PICC Plenary Hall this Coming January 18, 2014 at 8PM.

This will be a one night repreat so this would be the best time to get tickets after being busy with the Christmas season. There will be a lot of suprises and a great line up of songs that everyone will love from her classics to unlikely hits sung with her style.
