It's another year for Your Song of Excellence by Taiwan Excellence which is now at their third season as they continue to search for the Philippines’ best singers and songwriters - co-presented by Aromase, Derma Angel, and Johnson Fitness & Wellness. The finals were held last Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Ayala Malls Market! Market! In Taguig. 

The Live Grand Finals Event bore witness to a celebration of outstanding Filipino talent, with the Top 3 Grand Finalists from both Singer Category and Songwriter Category fighting their way to the bitter end. Before battling it out on the big stage, the Finale opened with an energizing performance of the Your Song of Excellence 2023 jingle by the Celebrity Judges Yeng Constantino, Arthur Nery, Ice Seguerra, and Paulo Zarate.

MUSIC LYF: Capital Cities to perform at AYALA MALLS on January 11 & 12

Los Angeles indie electro unit Capital Cities first came together as a duo of composers/songwriters Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian. The two initially met on craigslist in 2008 and worked as jingle writers until they formed the band in 2010. They released an EP independently in 2011 that included the song “Safe and Sound,” an upbeat mesh of programming and melody that went viral and gained the act a lot of Internet exposure. The music video is currently nominated in this year’s 56th Grammy Awards. Eventually, Merchant and Simonian were joined by bassist Manny Quintero, trumpeter Spencer Ludwig, guitarist Nick Merwin, and drummer Channing Holmes. Their new single “Kangaroo Court”

The fully realized live version of Capital Cities played festivals internationally. Their debut full-length studio album “In a Tidal Wave of Mystery” is exclusively distributed MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines).

Campaign to Uplift Sulu’s Education and Livelihood Launched

One with Sulu, the campaign to uplift the state of education and livelihood in Sulu, was recently launched to the public, with an exhibit and a documentary screening at Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City.

It has been our airwaves and in YouTube as Gwiyomi fever hits the internet and also to the Philippines as many have made their own version of the step-by-step song whcih has been a LSS to many for months now, even myself. And the original singer of the hit song is now here, Hari and will be doing mall tours in Ayala malls this Septemeber!

Her unique musical genre paired with her impressive dance moves instantly captured a good number of fans who were enthralled with her performance. But the 26-year old artist gained her mainstream popularity as she joined the fourth season of America’s Got Talent where she became a quarter-finalist. The same competition gave her the title as the Hip Hop Violinist.

Promoting and championing Filipino talents, Ayala Malls Cinemas hosts for the 3rd time entries that will compete in Cinemalaya Festival on its 9th year themed “Cinemalaya Cinesthesia.”

GREYSON CHANCE’S NEW EP, TRUTH BE TOLD PART 1, SET FOR NATIONWIDE RELEASE ON OCTOBER 29th

Platinum-selling singer-songwriter and musician, GREYSON CHANCE, has sent his Filipino fans into an online frenzy with the announcement of his Truth Be Told part 1 launch happening at the Ayala Malls this November 11.

Greyson’s highly-anticipated EP will be released nationwide starting October 29. Entitled Truth Be Told part 1, the album will be released exclusively under MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines) and will contain five tracks namely “You Might Be the One”, “Leila”, “California Sky”, “Take My Heart” and the uplifting new single, “Sunshine & City Lights”, which is the first taste of the new music he has been working on for nearly a year. While he continues to work on a full-length album to be released in 2013, Greyson has decided to give fans a taste of what's to come through this new single and EP. “The new stuff is much more stripped down and organic. I wrote all the songs so that they have this personal connection when one listens. My goal is that when someone listens to the new stuff, they feel this overwhelming connection.
