Philadelphia Proclaims Nov 25th as "`CREED' Day"‏

 Standing atop the Philadelphia Art Museum’s iconic steps, Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter proclaimed Wednesday, November 25th “Creed” Day in honor of the upcoming film—which explores the next chapter in the “Rocky” saga. Joining Mayor Nutter to receive the official proclamation were Stallone himself and fellow “Creed” stars Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson, and the film’s writer/director, Ryan Coogler, and producer Irwin Winkler.

The writing of “Spectre's” success is on the wall as the latest James Bond action adventure opened big at No. 1, with a smash three-day opening weekend nationwide gross of P65.1-M (Nov. 6-8). This was announced today by a spokesman of Columbia Pictures, the film's local distributor.

“Spectre's” three-day opening recorded for Columbia Pictures its biggest bow for the year, outpacing recent hits “Insidious: Chapter 3,” “Hotel Transylvania 2” and “Goosebumps.”

"The Good Dinosaur" -- A Coming-of-Age, "Boy" and "Dog" Story‏

In a world where dinosaurs never became extinct and humans roam the wild, Disney-Pixar's “The Good Dinosaur” features a simple, relatable story in which an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend.

“It’s the story of a boy and his dog—only in our story, the boy is a dinosaur and the dog is a boy,” says director Peter Sohn.

“It’s also a coming-of-age story,” adds Sohn. “Arlo is afraid everything. But his father, Poppa, is always there for him, encouraging Arlo to step out of his comfort zone, to confront his fears, to make his mark.”

In addition to breaking box office records across the globe, SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure, has been awarded a Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Film Stunt Explosion, it was announced today at a press conference in Beijing, China. SPECTRE, from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, opens in China this week.

Stiller, Wilson Take Selfies in "Zoolander 2" Teaser Poster‏


Paramount Pictures has just released the teaser poster of “Zoolander 2,” the sequel to the 2001 hit comedy “Zoolander” starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, who are both reprising their original roles.

“Look Time No Z” announces the one-sheet art, in which male models Derek (Stiller) and Hansel (Wilson) outdo each other in taking selfies.

Directed by Stiller, with a screenplay written by Justin Theroux, “Zoolander 2” also stars Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz, Will Ferrell, Christine Taylor and Olivia Munn.

“Zoolander 2 opens across the Philippines in February 2016 and will be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
