Hypersonic Signal Beams for Christian Bables

Christian Bables has cemented a place of his own in the acting world, following a win at the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, for his portrayal of Intoy in Signal Rock. Christian has proven to all and sundry that he is an actor to reckon with. He has also erased the notion that he was stuck to playing gay roles.

While he played the “bagtik” (astig in Tagalog), Intoy who decides to remain in a remote island with his family and courageously climbs steep rock formations just to get a cellphone signal in Signal Rock, Christian in reality is also a “bagtik” actor - camera ready, focused and steadfast.

His most recent triumph, a Special Jury Award for Outstanding Acting in Signal Rock (while the movie won the Critics’ Choice Award at the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino), is an amplified signal that all the forces of the universe are aligned in his favor.

First Look at Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip in ‘The Crown’ season 3

Netflix has released a first look photo of Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip in The Crown season 3. Menzies, best known for his roles as Frank Randall/Jonathan Randall in Outlander and Edmure Tully in Game of Thrones, is taking over the role from Matt Smith, who played the prince in the acclaimed series’ first two seasons.

Joining Menzies in the all-new cast for season 3 are Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Ben Daniels as Antony Armstrong-Jones, and Olivia Colman, who will play Queen Elizabeth this time around.

GOYO - Ang Batang Heneral Continues The Revolutionary Trilogy

After the underdog success of Heneral Luna, the "Artikulo Uno" trilogy continues with Gregorio Del Pilar now on the spotlight. GOYO Ang Batang Heneral is directed by Jerold Tarog, and Paulo Avelino plays the role again.

With Heneral Luna comes a fiesty and strong film about the general's life, Goyo is more of the opposite with a more milder yet womanizing  personality which might come as a shock for those expecting a hot-headed  protagonist.

The film also brings in the cast of Heneral Luna like Apolinario Mabini (Epy Quizon), Emilio Aguinaldo (Mon Confiado), Manuel Quezon (Benjamin Alves, and Joven (Aaron Villaflor). Though I would also highly recommend watching the filler short "Angelito" which was part of "I'm Drunk, I Love You." but is also available for viewing in their facebook page.

The New Yorker said of his performance in the 2016 Oscar Best Picture Moonlight, “There is no accounting for talent like this.”

Now, young actor Ashton Sanders stars opposite Denzel Washington in Columbia Pictures’ nail-biting action-thriller The Equalizer 2 (in Philippine cinemas August 29).

In the film, vigilante Robert McCall forges a mentorship with a teenager named Miles, who lives with his single mother in the same apartment complex as McCall’s.

Oscar-Nominee Demian Bichir Investigates the Paranormal in "The Nun"
