Ang Unang Aswang All Set To Open On October 4

The most awaited production to end the FEU Theater Guild (FTG)'s 89th season, along with the FEU Center for the Arts (FCA) is the return of "Ang Unang Aswang".

The play takes place in a dangerous forest ruled by the wilderness written by Palanca awardee playwright Rody Vera and directed by a respected member, director, and actor of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) and the appointed Artistic Director of FTG, Mr. Dudz Teraña.

Wander where the Aswang dwells! With sharp teeth, venomous stares, and the rabidness of a wild animal, the Aswang searches for her identity in a village she has not been to before. Will her curiosity towards her origin urge her to search for her identity? Will a gut-wrenching deed done by a boy bring out her true nature to consume her own offspring? Join the exploration of fear and hesitation. Hear the songs and the voices of the chorus that whisper like winds through the forest, and the chants of elements in the woods that sway to the sound of the bamboo.

Japanese Psychothriller "Gannibal" Renewed For Second Season

Following a dramatic first season that left audiences on a blood-curdling cliffhanger, stars Yuya Yagira, Show Kasamatsu and Riho Yoshioka return for the spine-chilling conclusion to this unmissable story

After a breathtaking first season that saw Yuya Yagira receive a Best Actor nomination at the upcoming Busan International Film Festival’s Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards, and which saw the show become the most watched locally produced original series on Disney+ in Japan in the month since its premiere (based on hours streamed), Gannibal will return for its second season exclusively on Disney+.

Starring some of the biggest names in the Japanese creative industry, season two will see the return of Yuya Yagira as police officer Daigo Agawa; Show Kasamatsu as Keisuke Goto, the head of the Goto family; and Riho Yoshioka as Yuki Agawa, Daigo’s strong and supportive wife. Season two will also see the return of screenwriter and Academy Award-nominee Takamasa Oe; director Shinzo Katayama; and producer Teruhisa Yamamoto, the producer of the 2022 Academy Award-winning Drive My Car.

Reprising their iconic characters are Charlene Virlouvet as Truvy Jones, Liana San Diego as Annelle Dupuy, Clariza Mae Sevilla as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie, Yvette Yntig as M'Lynn Eatenton, and Marlinda Angbetic Tan as Clairee Belcher.

Filipino singer-songwriters raven and Angela Ken teams up on “Pangako,” a song about life-long commitment and everlasting love

*NSYNC has finally released their first song together in two decades, “Better Place,” from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls Band Together—out on October 20,, 2023.

Multi-award-winning artist Justin Timberlake returns as the soundtrack’s executive music producer alongside GRAMMY award-winning producer/songwriter Mike Elizondo. Timberlake wrote and performed new original music for the film, which also includes music from the cast and some of today’s top artists including Kid Cudi, Camila Cabello, Troye Sivan, Anna Kendrick and more. Through a collection of 14 tracks, the soundtrack stays true to Trolls’ signature psychedelic joy-bomb of new and classic pop hits. 

#GreatTokyoAdventure: Pokémon Center Tokyo DX Nihombashi

As part of the Great Tokyo Adventure experience, let's go to a Pokémon Center in Tokyo. Actually, there are 3 known locations in Tokyo, but as I went through my Ginza tour, I decided to go to the Pokémon Center Tokyo DX which is nearby.

Located in Nihombashi Takashimaya Shopping Center in Chuo City Tokyo, this is one of the biggest Pokémon centers I have ever been and definitely a place any Pokémon fan should never miss when in Tokyo. The Pokémon Center can be reached by walking from  Nihombashi train station of Tokyo Metro Ginza and Tozai Line.
