REEL DEAL: Kimmy Dora Ang Kiyemeng Prequel REVIEW

Kimmy Dora has finally reached its final film, it both sad (knowing that everyone love these twins) and happy (for "upgrading" Pinoy Comedy Films to interesting and quality movies) for the franchise which concludes the trilogy with Kimmy Dora Ang Kiyemeng Prequel. Euegene Domingo proved her versatility and charm with the chaotic yet lovable twins Kimmy and Dora Godonghae.

I have to say that the trilogy is composed of different styles of comedy with slapstick, horror-comedy, black comedy, etc. found in a scene in the movie which would cater to all audiences. It would be fitting that it ends its franchise at the MMFF, which is the biggest movie festival in the country (well, movie lovers are either compelled to or authentically love the movie). As I belong to the one who loved the first (but not have seen the second), I made it part of the limited films I'll see for MMFF.

Now back to the Godonghae twins, which have won the hearts of the viewers and the first Pinoy film that was successful in doing promotion on social media, they kept the same strategy and finds new ways to keep viewers entertained. Production value is probably the most "bongga" among entries as it made cool effects and production design. And of course it would not be complete without the suprise cameos of stars which also includes the producer Piolo Pascual.
For the finale, the twins is paired with successful PBB housemate Sam Milby who plays as their supervisor in doing their tasks as the future heirs of the Godonghae Empire.  Sam showed his doing action scenes which he is rarely done for movies. And with trouble looming, as sabotage and conspiracy is tearing the company down by an unknown enemy brings mystery and more action to this prequel.

Kimmy Dora Ang Kiyemeng Prequel also stars like Joel Torre, Angel Aquino, and Ariel Oreta. Kimmy Dora Ang Kiyemeng Prequel is brought to you by Spring Films. Now Showing in Theaters.

Deliberation time kids!

Show summary in 3 lines: Kimmy Dora Forever!
Technical Effects: 4 out of 5 stars (I could say is the best for visual effects and production value)
Plot: 3 out of 5 stars (The Plot is predictable, but one would love the suprizes)
Acting and Actors: 4 out of 5 stars  (Best performances are Eugene Domingo, Sam Milby and Angel Aquino)
Music and Soundtracks:  3 out for 5 stars (OST is cool, but not much as a LSS material)
Pros:  Production design, Dora (OK you too Kimmy), Cameos
Cons:  Plot,  recycled lines, timeline, product placements
Overall Rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars (Fitting ending to the trilogy, but may lack that 'explosive' factor that can make it more epic)
