Here he is Dane Jensen, a headhunter who faces a fierce competition to reach his goals and be a good provider for his family. But being very busy eventually takes a toll with his family. This brings tribulations to the strong and confident headhunter who will face his breaking point.
I don't know why they have to change the original title which is actually more appealing than "A Family Man". It seems so generic and already gave away the premise that he is a provider for the family. The original title seems poetic, but oh well, the actual is more important than the title right?
I see that Willem Dafoe and Alison Brie shine despite their supporting role, yes they play a pivotal factor to Dane Jensen and his family. It is a family movie with the right simplicity and drama but with a familiar plot.
A Family Man stars Gerard Butler, Gretchen Mol, Alison Brie, Anupam Kher, Alfred Molina, and Willem Dafoe. Showing in cinemas on August 23.
Deliberation time kids!
