The Soul Brothers - Jay-R, Kris and Billy Stages Concert This September!

If you think Pinoy RnB, three men comes to mind, Jay-R, Kris Lawrence and Billy Crawford. They earned their titles when they started in the early 2000s and now they are now looked as inspirations and even mentors to new and upcoming artists. As a celebration to their brotherhood and music, they come up with their concert titled Soul Brothers. 

Happening on September 15 at the Kia Theater, the night will be filled with soulful songs, nostalgic beats, and classic hits that defined their musical careers. They will be joined by guest performers which are also their close friends in the industry like Daryl Ong, Sam Concepcion, Jay Durias and Gloc 9.


Linked together by music, they also shine individually with their roles. Jay-R is part of A.S.A.P. Soul Sessions, and established his own label HomeWorkZ where Kris Lawrence is one of featured artist and also helps in producing and songwriting. They also sang the theme song for Miss World Philippines. Billy is currently with It's Showtime, Little Big Shots and Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6.

Their friendship started years ago when Jay-R and Kris were in high school in the US. They both found success with the emergence of RnB in the country when they moved to the Philippines. When Billy also moved back to the Philippines, they eventually met and the rest is history. They are now proudly under Arnold Vegafria’s management outfit, ALV Talent Circuit.

Jay-R also champions OPM with his Original Music Only (OMO) with the tours he has done with  HomeworkZ. He reiterates, “I’m still all about Original Music. My whole set is mostly my original stuff. But at the same time, Billy, Kris and I have the same favorite songs, which we want to perform for our audience.”

Plans are also underway for a SOUL BROTHERS concert tour abroad. 

Jay-R confirms, “We already have a Soul Brothers show in San Francisco on October 6, Los Angeles on October 7, San Diego on October 8, and we’re finalizing a few more cities in the U.S. and Canada, and possibly UAE.”
